January 29, 2026 – XPENG UK today outlined its 2026 product ambitions, signalling a decisive step in the brand’s European growth strategy. Building on its successful market entry in 2025, XPENG is set to deliver advanced, intelligent electric vehicles tailored specifically for British drivers and roads.
The coming year will see the launch of the all-new G6 SUV, now refined with over 20,000 engineering improvements. These enhancements span chassis and suspension dynamics, steering responsiveness, electric powertrain behaviour, battery management, NVH (noise, vibration, harshness) performance, and premium interior materials. The result is a driving experience that is markedly more composed, confident, and comfortable, engineered to meet the demands of everyday UK driving.
Performance enthusiasts will also welcome the new G6 Dual-Motor AWD Performance Black Edition, producing 358kW (480bhp) and 660Nm of torque, capable of 0-62mph in just 4.13 seconds. Remarkably, despite these comprehensive upgrades, pricing remains accessible, with the Rear-Wheel Drive Standard Range model starting at £39,990, the Long-Range variant from £44,990, and the Dual-Motor AWD Performance Black Edition from £49,990.
Looking ahead, XPENG’s mid-year highlight will be the arrival of the X9, a seven-seat flagship that brings luxury, versatility, and cutting-edge technology to families and businesses seeking intelligent long-range electric mobility. Built on XPENG’s advanced 800v SEPA2.0 architecture, the X9 combines a futuristic ‘starship-inspired’ design with a smart, flexible cabin and a host of connected technologies. Aerodynamic efficiency, spacious interiors, and high-tech functionality make the X9 a standout in XPENG’s growing European portfolio.
XPENG UK is also expanding its retailer network to ensure convenience for customers across major cities, including London, Birmingham, Manchester, Bristol, and Edinburgh. “We are committed to expanding consumer choice in the UK with vehicles that deliver world-class electric performance, intelligent functionality, and real-world usability,” said Jonny Miller, XPENG UK Sales Director.
Beyond the G6 and X9, XPENG is developing a series of new models set for announcement later in 2026, reflecting the brand’s long-term vision to deliver a high-tech EV portfolio across multiple segments in the UK and Europe.
Since its UK launch, XPENG has focused on harmonising intelligent connectivity with real-world performance and competitive pricing, underpinned by a rapidly growing dealer and service network. With 2026 shaping up as a pivotal year, XPENG is reinforcing its position as a forward-thinking, customer-focused EV brand for the UK market.
