London, 17 June 2025 — Women On the Move Against Cancer (WOMAC) once again demonstrated the automotive industry’s heart and generosity as its annual fundraising event soared past expectations, raising a remarkable £17,266.10 in support of two life-changing cancer charities: BRIGHT Cancer Care and Skcin.
Held at the iconic Kia Oval in London, the event brought together a powerful mix of automotive professionals, industry allies, and supporters from across the UK. Thanks to the unwavering commitment of headline sponsor Kia, the generosity of numerous prize donors, and the tireless efforts of the WOMAC committee, the night proved to be not only a memorable celebration but also a vital contribution to cancer awareness, treatment, and prevention.
What began as a £15,000 target quickly became a milestone surpassed, with funds now set to be split evenly between BRIGHT and Skcin – two charities making a profound difference in their respective fields.

BRIGHT Cancer Care provides vital financial support for groundbreaking research and specialist equipment focused on gastrointestinal and hepato-pancreato-biliary (HPB) cancers. Working closely with leading experts at St Luke’s Cancer Centre and the Royal Surrey County Hospital, BRIGHT is at the forefront of efforts to improve patient outcomes through innovative treatment pathways.
Skcin, meanwhile, stands as the UK’s leading skin cancer charity. Focused on education, early detection, and prevention, Skcin delivers targeted training and awareness programmes for high-risk groups, and runs national accreditation schemes that embed lasting impact across both healthcare and community sectors.
The evening itself was a vibrant celebration of purpose and partnership. A lively raffle and tombola offered guests a chance to win an array of prizes – all generously donated by WOMAC’s extensive network of industry friends, sponsors, and supporters. But beyond the prizes and pleasantries was a deeply personal sense of mission, a shared commitment to taking tangible action against cancer.
Georgia Fox, Chair of WOMAC, reflected on the night’s success with heartfelt gratitude:
“We’re so proud of how this year’s fundraiser turned out and genuinely blown away by the generosity of our guests, patrons, and sponsors. Every year Team WOMAC rallies to support amazing cancer charities and in 2025 we’re honoured to be backing the brilliant work of BRIGHT and Skcin. It means a lot to play even a small part in their vital missions.”
Since its founding, WOMAC has raised hundreds of thousands of pounds for cancer charities – uniting the automotive world in a cause that touches every life. With each passing year, its influence grows, not just in numbers, but in impact, delivering meaningful support to organisations at the heart of cancer care and prevention.
As the evening at The Kia Oval showed, when compassion meets community, incredible things happen.
