The Sporting Bears Motor Club Launches Inaugural Dream Rides Show
Wycombe Air Park, Buckinghamshire, England: This Sunday, July 14, the Sporting Bears Motor Club proudly presents its first-ever Dream Rides Show at Wycombe Air Park (also known as Booker Airfield) SL7 3DP. From 10 am to 4 pm, car enthusiasts and families alike are invited to attend this unique event, free of admission and parking charges.
The show promises an unforgettable day featuring an array of spectacular vehicles, including the Ferrari Enzo, McLaren Senna, and Porsche 918. Attendees will have the rare opportunity to meet the esteemed Mike Brewer, host of the popular TV show Wheeler Dealers, and celebrated YouTuber, JayEmm on Cars.
One of the event’s highlights is the chance to experience passenger rides in 40 extraordinary cars, driven by highly experienced drivers along the air park’s expansive half-mile runway. In exchange for these once-in-a-lifetime rides, the Sporting Bears Motor Club requests donations to support children’s charitable organizations. Beneficiaries include Keech Hospice Care and Chloe’s and Sophie’s Special Ears Fund, among others.
Since its inception in 1989, the Sporting Bears Motor Club has been dedicated to raising funds for children in need, amassing over £3 million in donations. The club’s volunteer-driven efforts ensure that all proceeds are directed towards vetted charitable causes, supporting child patients and children’s organizations.
Michael De Sousa Macedo, Event Organiser at The Sporting Bears, expressed his enthusiasm for the upcoming event: “We extend our heartfelt thanks to our partners, Progress Flying School and Wycombe Air Park, for their invaluable support in hosting our Dream Rides Show. Adding to the excitement, the Met Office forecasts a dry, sunny day with temperatures around 20°C, ensuring perfect weather for this family-friendly event.
In the weeks and months ahead, the Sporting Bears will continue to offer Dream Rides at major family-oriented events, including The British Motor Show at the Farnborough International Exhibition and Conference Centre from August 15 – 18.
