Wheeler Dealer Live is gearing up to return in full throttle spectacle on Sunday 31 May at Bicester Motion, bringing together car culture, television nostalgia, and hands-on automotive theatre in one high-octane celebration.
Fronted by television personality Mike Brewer, the event is hosted in partnership with Petrolheadonism and once again sees the return of the Hagerty Drivers Club as headline sponsor. For enthusiasts, it’s shaping up to be more than a show, it’s a full-scale motoring playground.
Brewer, a familiar face to car lovers since the late 1990s and best known for Wheeler Dealers, will be joined by a rotating cast of celebrity friends and automotive personalities. The show itself, launched in 2003, has become a global phenomenon, spawning spin-offs and cementing Brewer as one of the most recognisable figures in televised car culture. Wheeler Dealer Live builds on that legacy, translating screen chemistry into real-world spectacle.
At the heart of the experience is a celebration of machines and craftsmanship. One of the standout attractions will be a live car build by Chesil Motor Company, giving attendees a rare chance to watch engineering unfold in real time. Alongside that, a live action stunt arena, modified car displays, vans and truck zones, car clubs, and dedicated for-sale areas will ensure there’s constant movement, noise, and spectacle across the venue.
Family-friendly energy remains a core part of the event’s identity, with food vendors, entertainment zones, and interactive attractions designed to keep the atmosphere accessible and engaging for all ages. It’s not just a car show, but a full day out built around automotive culture in its widest sense.
For Hagerty Drivers Club members, the return of the partnership brings added exclusivity. The club will host a dedicated hospitality area, offering a relaxed space to eat, drink, and connect with fellow enthusiasts. Members will also gain special access opportunities, including chances to meet Mike Brewer in a more intimate setting away from the main crowds.
The club’s broader ethos is to welcome all enthusiasts, regardless of marque loyalty or garage size, making it a natural fit for an event that celebrates everything from classic restorations to modern modified builds. As Hagerty UK Managing Director Mark Roper noted, the collaboration is designed to bring members closer to the action while enhancing the overall event experience for attendees.
Ticket pricing has been deliberately kept accessible, with adult entry starting at £17.50, children aged 6–13 at £8.50, and under-fives admitted free. Car display tickets begin at £22.50, allowing owners to bring their pride and joy directly into the heart of the action.
There are also strong incentives for early engagement with the Hagerty ecosystem. Subscribers to the Hagerty newsletter or social channels can claim 50% off tickets, while new Drivers Club members receive £10 off annual membership and a free car pass covering occupants of their vehicle.
With its mix of live engineering, celebrity appearances, stunt performances, and grassroots car culture, Wheeler Dealer Live is positioning itself as one of the standout automotive gatherings of the year. And in a setting like Bicester Motion, where heritage aviation and motoring history meet modern enthusiast energy, the stage feels appropriately set for something loud, lively, and unapologetically petrol-fuelled.
