A completely new look and two new domains herald a major update for the Welsh Motoring Writers website.
Launched on St David’s Day (1 March), the group of professional motoring writers have adopted the domains motoring.wales and moduro.cymru in place of the previous URLs.
As well as occasional vehicle reviews, the website contains news and features with angles relevant to motorists in Wales. The site also contains information on the history of the group, its awards, and a directory of members and their outlets.
Welsh Motoring Writers chair Simon Harris said: “It’s 14 years since our website last underwent a major refresh, so it’s pleasing to see the more impactful look allowing users to navigate to the latest articles, or other information we publish online.

“Our previous domains, motoringwriters.com and gohebwyrmoduro.com served us well, and at the time our website was set up, around 20 years or so ago, .wales and .cymru domains were not available.
“But we believe motoring.wales and moduro.cymru encapsulate much more succinctly and accurately our aims for the site as a useful resource for motoring news and features specific to Wales.”
The website will be managed by WMW website editor Niall Evans and WMW handbook editor Alex Grant.
