South West car dealership group Vospers has been appointed as the new main dealer for Vauxhall in Plymouth, replacing former main dealer Evans Halshaw.
Vospers have secured Vauxhall representation for Plymouth, with a temporary showroom set to open at Marsh Mills in the coming days to support the needs of all car sales and aftersales customers. Vauxhall commercial vehicle sales and aftersales customers are to be looked after by the dedicated Vospers Van Centre team, located at Valley Road in Plympton, Plymouth.
Nick Vosper, Managing Director of Vospers, said: “I am very excited to be adding Vauxhall to the Vospers portfolio of brands, who are ideally positioned to offer a great range of vehicles, including all-electric and plug-in hybrid models, at affordable prices.”
Vauxhall, a British Brand Since 1903, is a subsidiary of Stellantis, whose other brands include but are not limited to Abarth, Alfa Romeo, Fiat, Jeep, and Peugeot, all of which Vospers represent at dealerships in either Exeter, Torbay, Plymouth, or Truro.
By the Summer of 2023, Vospers will have made a substantial investment in the Vauxhall brand, including a dedicated eight car showroom with the latest corporate identity, and new workshop equipment.

As part of the change of representation in Plymouth, all current Evans Halshaw employees have been offered jobs with Vospers. The family business was keen to ensure that there were no redundancies for existing staff, and a smooth transition for existing customers.
