Volkswagen has announced the introduction of exciting new trim levels across its popular ID.3, ID.4, and ID.5 electric models, offering an impressive blend of sporty performance, enhanced features, and eye-catching value for money. As part of the upgrade, several models also benefit from the introduction of a new entry-level battery, further solidifying the ID. range as a top contender in the UK’s electric vehicle market. With these new trims now available to order from Thursday, 21 November, Volkswagen is set to continue its reign as the UK’s most popular new-car brand for the past three years.

ID.3: New Trims, New Powertrain, Same Commitment to Value
The ID.3 hatchback is gaining two fresh new trims – Pure Essential and Pure Match. These variants are powered by a new entry-level 52 kWh battery that delivers 170 PS of power and an estimated range of up to 240 miles. Whether you’re commuting to the office or taking a weekend road trip, this new configuration offers impressive range and rapid charging capability, topping up from 10 to 80 percent in just 25 minutes – the perfect opportunity for a quick break.

The Pure Match trim builds on the base Pure Essential with added features such as 18-inch East Derry alloy wheels, metallic paint, a comfort package with heated front seats, navigation, and two-zone Climatronic air conditioning. It also includes a rear-view camera, carpet mats, and tinted windows. These enhancements provide a richer experience while still offering great value for money.

With prices starting at £30,850 for the ID.3 Pure Essential and £32,210 for the ID.3 Pure Match (on-the-road manufacturer’s direct prices, including VAT), both trims represent a fantastic entry point into the world of electric driving.

ID.4: Enhanced Features and a Competitive Price
The ID.4 Pure Match, which already offers impressive features like a sleek design and advanced tech, now benefits from 19-inch Hamar alloy wheels, enhancing its on-road presence. Additionally, its price has been reduced by £3,090, making it an even more attractive option at £39,550 (on-the-road manufacturer’s direct price, including VAT). This price reduction ensures that the ID.4 remains a compelling choice for customers looking for an electric SUV that offers both performance and practicality without compromising on style.

ID.5: Sleek and Sporty with Added Value
The ID.5 Pure Match brings all the great features of the ID.3 and ID.4 into a stylish coupe-SUV package, equipped with the same 52 kWh battery offering a range of up to 222 miles. With 19-inch Hamar alloy wheels, metallic paint, a comfort package, rear-view camera, and tinted windows, the ID.5 Pure Match combines cutting-edge features with Volkswagen’s hallmark reliability. Available at £41,050 (on-the-road manufacturer’s direct price, including VAT), it provides excellent value for those who want the practicality of an electric SUV with the flair of a coupe.

Volkswagen Expands Id Range With New Value Packed Trims

GTX Edition: Power, Performance, and Premium Features
For those seeking a more performance-oriented driving experience, the new ID.4 GTX Edition and ID.5 GTX Edition deliver 340 PS of power, propelling both vehicles from 0-62 mph in just 5.4 seconds. Their exhilarating acceleration is complemented by a top speed of 112 mph (where permitted), making these models perfect for drivers who crave an electrifying driving experience.

The GTX Editions come with a host of premium features normally priced at around £6,500 when added as options. These include metallic paint, the Assistance Pack Plus (which adds an area view camera, electric tailgate, IQ. Drive Travel Assist, Park Assist Plus, memory feature for Park Assist, and side assist), and the Interior Sport Pack Plus, which includes power-adjustable ergoActive comfort seats with a massage function, integrated front head restraints, and ArtVelours microfleece inserts.

At £52,205 for the ID.4 GTX Edition and £53,705 for the ID.5 GTX Edition (on-the-road manufacturer’s direct prices, including VAT), these models offer unparalleled value for those seeking premium features and exciting performance in an electric SUV.

A Bright Future for Volkswagen’s ID. Range
With these new trims and updates, Volkswagen continues to evolve its electric range, ensuring there’s an ID. model for every driver. Whether you’re seeking an entry-level option with impressive range or a high-performance electric SUV, the new ID.3, ID.4, and ID.5 trims offer something for everyone.

As always, Volkswagen’s focus on value, performance, and cutting-edge technology ensures that these new models provide an unbeatable combination of quality and price. Ready to drive into the future? The new ID. range is available for order now at Volkswagen Retailers, with deliveries expected in the near future.
