Modena, 13 May 2025 — The shores of Lake Como are set to resonate with the unmistakable roar of Italian engineering as Maserati prepares to take centre stage at FuoriConcorso 2025. Held from 24 to 25 May at the historic villas of Grumello and Sucota, this year’s theme, “Velocissimo: Italian Race Cars”, offers a poetic homage to Italy’s storied motorsport legacy. And no marque embodies this theme more seamlessly than the House of the Trident.
For the first time, Maserati joins the prestigious FuoriConcorso, an event that since its inception in 2019 has become a celebration of automotive artistry. In this rarefied atmosphere—defined by private collections, bespoke masterpieces, and design purity—Maserati introduces two extraordinary expressions of its DNA: the GT2 Stradale and the MCXtrema.
GT2 Stradale: Racing Pedigree Meets Road-Ready Sophistication
Making its debut in the luminous Bianco Audace livery, the Maserati GT2 Stradale is more than a supercar—it’s a manifesto. Developed by Officine Fuoriserie Maserati, this road-legal evolution of the GT2 racing machine bridges the realms of track precision and everyday drivability. Born from Maserati’s triumphant return to closed-wheel racing, the GT2 Stradale distils pure performance while honouring the brand’s unwavering commitment to design and elegance.
At its heart lies the formidable 3.0-litre V6 Nettuno engine, tuned to deliver 640 CV (471 kW). This enables staggering performance figures: 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.7 seconds, and a top speed exceeding 320 km/h. Weighing 60 kilograms less than the MC20, it’s the lightest and most powerful road-going Maserati fitted with an internal combustion engine. Yet despite its ferocity, the GT2 Stradale remains refined, offering a cabin of comfort and craftsmanship fit for long drives as much as racing circuits.

MCXtrema: The Ultimate Track Weapon
In striking Blu Extrema, the MCXtrema sits as an untamed tribute to Maserati’s boundary-pushing ethos. A car conceived without compromise, it’s not homologated for road use—nor was it ever meant to be. This is a machine built for purists, collectors, and gentleman racers who demand the pinnacle of power and exclusivity.
Limited to just 62 units, the MCXtrema takes the Nettuno engine and pushes it to new extremes, unleashing 740 CV through a refined and race-focused chassis. From its aggressive aerodynamic form to its featherweight design and raw power delivery, the MCXtrema is a masterclass in performance engineering. The model exhibited at Villa Sucota is not merely a car—it’s a symbol of Maserati’s ability to blend art, function, and fury into a singular, breathtaking vision.
Where Art, Passion and Power Converge
FuoriConcorso has always been more than an automotive gathering—it is an experience of beauty in motion. In this curated celebration of Italian performance and design, Maserati’s presence feels not just fitting, but essential. The GT2 Stradale and MCXtrema embody two distinct facets of the brand—one forged in the pursuit of excellence on public roads, the other honed for pure competition.
Yet beneath their differences beats the same heart: a passion for driving, a reverence for innovation, and an unwavering commitment to the principles that have guided Maserati for over a century.
At FuoriConcorso 2025, Maserati doesn’t just take part. It defines the moment.
