Having taken Vauxhall from strength to strength over the past two years as Managing Director, Vauxhall Motors, Duncan Aldred will take on – in addition to his current role – the responsibility of Chairman, Vauxhall Motors, effective 1st January 2012.

As Chairman and Managing Director, Duncan Aldred will oversee all Vauxhall operations, including the company’s HR function and personnel in the UK plants at Ellesmere Port and Luton.

Appointed Managing Director in January 2010, Duncan has been successfully building the Vauxhall Brand, introducing Vauxhall’s innovative Lifetime Warranty, its Four Nations Football Sponsorship and an exciting range of new cars, thus engaging employees, retailers and customers alike. In 2011, Corsa, Astra and Insignia have regularly appeared in the UK’s top ten sales chart and Vauxhall was once again announced as one of Britain’s Top Employers in 2011.

Bill Parfitt, Director, Government Affairs and Public Policy (effective 1st January 2012)

Vauxhall Motors’ current Chairman, Bill Parfitt, will take the title of Director, Government Affairs and Public Policy, effective 1st January 2012. He will continue to pursue his key role in government liaison and as negotiator and supporter of growth in the UK supply chain.
