Monterey, California – British luxury vehicle styling house Urban Automotive has made a commanding US debut at Monterey Car Week, bringing four bespoke masterpieces to one of the world’s most prestigious automotive gatherings. The showcase marks a pivotal moment in Urban’s international expansion, following the recent establishment of its jointly-owned US operation.
In partnership with Platinum Motorsport and Galpin Auto Sports—two of the most respected names in America’s high-end automotive scene—Urban has redefined some of the world’s most coveted luxury SUVs for their first US public appearances. True to Urban’s OEM Plus philosophy, each model retains the essence of its original design while being elevated with precision-crafted details and bold new visual impact.
Rolls-Royce Cullinan (Series II) Redefined – 26 Inches of Presence
Fresh from its reveal at the UK’s Goodwood Festival of Speed, the Rolls-Royce Cullinan (Series II) Redefined by Urban takes to California’s roads with a decisive new statement: the world’s first set of 26-inch Urban-Vossen UV-7 Fully Forged polished alloy wheels.
Built by Platinum Motorsport in Los Angeles, the transformation includes Urban’s signature carbon fibre Widetrack wheel arch and sill extensions, an exposed-weave carbon fibre bonnet, and restyled bumpers featuring vertical DRLs, a visual carbon splitter, billet aluminium exhaust tips, and integrated carbon spoilers. The result is an SUV that exudes both elegance and authority.
Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon Widetrack – 40+ Carbon Fibre Components
Also built by Platinum Motorsport, the next-generation Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon Widetrack represents Urban’s most ambitious wide-body conversion to date. Over 40 bespoke carbon fibre components have been meticulously designed and manufactured in-house, from flared arches and a vented bullnose bonnet overlay to a restyled front bumper with honeycomb mesh inserts.
The Widetrack stance is enhanced with hand-crafted Urban-Vossen UV-7 23-inch alloy wheels, produced exclusively in Miami. The result is a G-Wagon that blends uncompromising toughness with bespoke craftsmanship.
Land Rover Defender V8 Widetrack – Icon Reimagined
Galpin Auto Sports presents Urban’s take on the iconic Land Rover Defender V8 Widetrack, a global bestseller in the Urban line-up. Featuring high-power LED roof light pods, a vented carbon fibre bonnet, and an Urban premium spare wheel cover, the Defender retains its adventurous spirit while embracing a new level of sophistication. Every carbon fibre component is crafted in-house to the highest standard, ensuring a flawless fit and finish.

L460 Range Rover LWB Widetrack – Elevated Luxury
Also assembled by Galpin Auto Sports, the L460 Range Rover Long Wheelbase Widetrack pairs Urban’s sleek carbon fibre bonnet with bold 24-inch Urban UV-8 black alloy wheels. The understated yet commanding presence of this Range Rover perfectly embodies the brand’s refined approach to performance styling.

Urban’s redefined creations are not static displays—they are active participants in Monterey Car Week’s most exclusive events. From the LA to Monterey Fuel Run and Motorlux gathering to Legends of the Autobahn and Exotics on Broadway, these vehicles will share the spotlight with some of the rarest and most desirable machines on the planet.
For Urban Automotive founder Simon Dearn, this debut is more than a showcase—it’s a milestone.
“Bringing Urban Automotive to Monterey Car Week for the first time feels like a dream realised. California’s car culture is absolutely electric: there’s an incredible passion and appreciation for craftsmanship that perfectly aligns with what we do.”
Sandro Bucher, leading Urban’s US operation, echoes the sentiment:
“We’re not just attending Monterey Car Week – we’re here to make a statement! We’re looking forward to connecting with a community that truly understands the art of motoring perfection.”
