Volkswagen Introduces the ID.7 Pro S Match and Tourer Pro S Match: Superior Range and Rapid Charging
Milton Keynes – Volkswagen has made long-distance electric travel more accessible with the launch of the ID.7 Pro S Match and ID.7 Tourer Pro S Match models. These new additions to the ID.7 lineup feature enhanced battery capacity and faster charging, setting a new standard for electric vehicles.
The Pro S designation signifies a significant upgrade, with an 86 kWh battery replacing the previous 77 kWh version found in the ID.7 Match models. This enhancement delivers an impressive WLTP pure electric range of up to 437 miles for the fastback and 425 miles for the Tourer. Furthermore, the Pro S Match models support charging at up to 200 kW DC, allowing a rapid top-up from 10% to 80% battery capacity in just 26 minutes.
Luxury and cutting-edge technology remain integral to these new models. Both the ID.7 Pro S Match and the ID.7 Tourer Pro S Match are equipped with a head-up display, Volkswagen’s latest MIB4 infotainment system featuring a 15-inch screen, advanced IQ.LIGHT Matrix headlights, and three-zone air conditioning with intelligent vents. The vehicles also boast ergoActive heated front seats with massage functions and privacy glass for rear passengers.
In terms of practicality, these models do not disappoint. The ID.7 Pro S Match fastback offers up to 1,586 liters of boot space, while the Tourer variant provides up to 1,714 liters, both measured to the roofline with rear seats folded down.
The Volkswagen ID.7 Pro S Match and ID.7 Tourer Pro S Match are now available for order from Volkswagen retailers, with on-the-road prices starting at £55,450 and £56,140 (including VAT) respectively. These models promise to redefine the electric driving experience, combining extended range, swift charging, and unmatched luxury.
