Honda has unveiled a striking update to its best-selling HR-V e
model for the European market, delivering a blend of sophisticated styling, enhanced drivability, and cutting-edge hybrid technology. The refreshed HR-V e, available from September 2024, brings a series of notable upgrades across all grades, including a new Advance Plus edition that highlights the latest design advancements.
Evolved Exterior and Interior Design
The 2024 HR-V e
boasts a more defined and purposeful appearance, thanks to a comprehensive facelift. The exterior now features a sharper front bumper and a revised grille with a new crystal black upper moulding. The darkened headlight internals and the more pronounced character lines enhance the SUV’s bold and premium look. The Advance grades further benefit from adaptive driving beam (ADB) technology, providing superior illumination.
At the rear, the HR-V’s full-width LED lightbar has been redesigned to complement the new exterior color options. The updated palette includes Sage Green, Seabed Blue, and Urban Grey, each adding a distinctive flair to the vehicle’s silhouette.
Inside, Honda has improved ergonomics with a reprofiled central dash and center console, now finished in high-gloss piano black. The changes facilitate easier access to the wireless charging mat and enhance overall cabin comfort. Additionally, enhanced sound deadening contributes to a quieter driving experience. The new Advance Style Plus grade introduces a glass roof and privacy glass as standard, boosting both security and comfort.

All-New Advance Plus Grade
Honda marks the introduction of the refreshed HR-V e
with the exclusive Advance Plus grade. This special edition builds on the Advance Style grade, featuring unique styling elements such as an extended paint finish with color-coordinated lower bumpers, arches, and door garnishes. The Crystal Black grille and distinctive alloy wheels further set this variant apart.
Clever Packaging and Hybrid Efficiency
The latest HR-V e
retains its hallmark flexibility with the versatile rear Magic Seats, which offer both ‘fold-flat’ and ‘flip-up’ configurations to accommodate varying cargo needs. Honda’s innovative placement of the fuel tank beneath the front seats maximizes cabin space, while the efficient two-motor hybrid e
powertrain continues to deliver impressive performance and economy.
Advanced Safety Features
Honda SENSING remains at the forefront of safety with the HR-V e
, now featuring a Multi View Camera System that offers a comprehensive 360-degree view of the vehicle’s surroundings. The updated Traffic Jam Assist function, now with steering support from 0 km/h, enhances convenience and safety in traffic conditions, complementing the vehicle’s already robust crash protection.
With its blend of enhanced design, advanced technology, and hybrid efficiency, the 2024 Honda HR-V e
sets a new benchmark for mid-sized SUVs, aligning closely with customer feedback and market expectations.
