Unveiled at the 2025 Commercial Vehicle Show in Birmingham, the all-new Isuzu D-Max Arctic Trucks AT35 reasserts its dominance as a rugged workhorse reimagined for the modern era. Built on Isuzu’s newly updated D-Max platform and developed in partnership with Arctic Trucks – global pioneers in extreme terrain vehicle engineering – this latest iteration of the AT35 is purpose-built for drivers who demand unwavering performance, comfort and commercial utility in equal measure.

Built for the Edge of Possibility

From ice-covered trails to unforgiving work sites, the D-Max Arctic Trucks AT35 is engineered to thrive in the toughest conditions imaginable. With over 30 years of Arctic Trucks expertise channelled into its development, this is more than a cosmetic upgrade – it’s a total evolution in off-road capability.

Under the hood, a proven 1.9-litre turbo diesel engine delivers 360 Nm of torque, perfectly balanced for both daily driveability and serious load-hauling power. The AT35 retains its commercial classification with a 1-tonne payload and a 3.5-tonne towing capacity, making it an ideal partner for both professional fleets and adventurous lifestyles.

But it’s what lies beneath that truly sets this model apart. A custom Arctic Trucks Bilstein suspension setup lifts the vehicle, enhancing ground clearance and enabling exceptional approach, breakover and ramp-over angles of 35°, 34°, and 22°, respectively. Coupled with Isuzu’s robust 4WD system, a rear differential lock, and the newly introduced Rough Terrain Mode, the AT35 conquers everything from muddy tracks to frozen fields with supreme confidence.

A Bold New Look with Function at its Core

Visually, the AT35 makes a statement long before it’s put into gear. Its aggressive posture is underpinned by massive 35” BF Goodrich all-terrain tyres, flared wheel arches, dark grey Arctic Trucks styling accents, and AT35-branded extended side steps. These are more than styling cues – they’re rugged enhancements designed for real-world use.

Further elevating its versatility are features such as roof rails, a heavy-duty rear multifunction receiver, and reinforced side steps with grippy rubber treads for safer ingress and egress. Whether loading tools for a workday or gear for a weekend expedition, the AT35 is ready for anything.

Comfort, Connectivity and Control

Step inside, and the AT35 shifts from brawn to refinement. The double cab interior is generously equipped with premium leather upholstery, heated front seats, dual-zone climate control, and an intuitive cabin layout that places every control within easy reach.

A new 9” infotainment system supports wireless Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™, offering seamless smartphone integration, while a wireless charging pad ensures devices stay powered on the go. A 7” digital driver information display presents real-time vehicle data with clarity, and an 8-speaker sound system delivers immersive audio whether on the motorway or mountain pass.

Intelligent Safety at Every Turn

Isuzu has equipped the AT35 with its full suite of Advanced Driver Assist Systems (ADAS), ensuring it’s as smart as it is strong. Key features include Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keep Assist, Rear Cross Traffic Braking, Traffic Sign Recognition, Turn Assist, and Attention Assist. These systems work harmoniously to provide added reassurance across both urban streets and wild terrain.

With eight airbags and integrated E-Call functionality, the AT35 doesn’t just meet safety standards—it exceeds them.

Versatility with a Commercial Edge

Despite its extreme off-road credentials and refined cabin experience, the AT35 remains a serious commercial asset. Fully approved as a commercial vehicle, it qualifies for VAT reclaim and continues to offer the utility and efficiency expected by tradespeople and fleet operators. For business or pleasure – and everything in between – the AT35 delivers.
