When it first debuted, the Q50 marked a new styling dimension for Infiniti, “an energetic force rooted in nature, such as the shape of a dynamic wave,” said executive design director for Infiniti Alfonso Albaisa. Infiniti Q50 Hybrid Torque
The Q50 is often cited by owners for delivering outstanding acceleration and impressive fuel economy. Building upon the already exciting 328-horsepower standard V6, Infiniti offers an available all-wheel drive 360-horsepower hybrid version that accelerates to 60 miles per hour in 5.2 seconds, while at the same time returning up to 36 miles per gallon; making it both fast and frugal.
Infiniti Q50 Handling
Tuned from the outset to offer drivers just the right amount of feedback to the road, owners note how the Q50 is just as comfortable hugging the corners of a twisting b-road as it is cruising at speed on the highway or grabbing groceries around town. Mixing the best of both worlds has always been a challenge for the premium sport sedan segment. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety named the Q50 a Top Safety Pick+, while the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration awarded the car its highest honor, a 5-Star overall safety rating.
