The prestigious Women’s Worldwide Car of the Year (WWCOTY) awards have announced their voting committee members for the 2025 season. The WWCOTY is the world’s only automotive award jury exclusively composed of women motoring journalists, making it a unique and influential voice within the industry. The newly appointed committee includes five highly experienced journalists from five different countries, each bringing a wealth of knowledge and distinctive regional insights.
The panel members include Alicia Ryzewski from Argentina, Isadora Lima Carvalho from Brazil, Monica Secondino from Italy, Tanya Gazdik from the United States, and Tina Vujanović from Serbia. Together, they will work alongside WWCOTY’s leadership team to ensure that this year’s awards reflect the broad spectrum of values and priorities shared by drivers across the globe. Their responsibilities will encompass overseeing the voting process, refining award categories, and managing candidate model selections and brand relations. Marta García, the Executive President of WWCOTY, expressed her pride in the panel, emphasizing the critical role that their expertise will play in upholding the awards’ commitment to “rigor and independence” in 2025.

About Women’s Worldwide Car of the Year (WWCOTY)
Founded in 2009 by New Zealand journalist Sandy Myhre, who now serves as Honorary President, WWCOTY was created to celebrate excellence in automotive design and innovation while amplifying the voices of women in the automotive sector. The voting criteria for WWCOTY are rooted in universal automotive values, focusing on safety, quality, price, design, drivability, and environmental impact. As Marta García underscores, the jury members “do not select a ‘woman’s car’ because cars are not gender specific.”
This year’s voting process will continue to highlight cars that demonstrate excellence across these values, reflecting WWCOTY’s mission to evaluate vehicles not by gender but by the factors that matter to all drivers. Additionally, the awards are more than a recognition of automotive achievement; they champion a global movement to enhance women’s visibility and influence in the industry. Through the WWCOTY, women’s voices are amplified, fostering a narrative where mobility is not only about transportation but also about empowerment.
As WWCOTY heads into 2025 with its new committee, the awards promise to be a beacon of inclusive, rigorous, and impactful automotive assessment. This year’s winners will reflect the values of drivers worldwide, underscoring that the automotive world thrives when it embraces diversity, equity, and shared passion for the open road.
