In an exciting blend of tradition and innovation, the 82nd Members’ Meeting at Goodwood, presented by Audrain Motorsport, is set to take place on April 12 and 13, 2025. Marking a significant stride in sustainable motorsport, this year’s races will run entirely on eco-friendly fuels—a pioneering shift first introduced at the Goodwood Revival. With each competitor’s engine revving to the tune of fuels featuring a minimum of 70% advanced sustainable components, this event promises to deliver exhilarating action with a reduced carbon footprint.

As the opening fixture of the 2025 motorsport season, this Members’ Meeting offers a lineup of thirteen legendary contests, curated to thrill motorsport enthusiasts and environmental advocates alike. Here’s a preview of the crowd-favorite races, offering a taste of what’s in store for this landmark sustainable event.

Hailwood Trophy featuring the Sheene Trophy
This adrenaline-packed event celebrates iconic 250cc and 350cc Grand Prix motorcycles, including legendary models like the Yamaha TZ350G and Honda CB750. As the only bike race of the weekend, the Hailwood Trophy promises a fierce two-part showdown that will crown its winner based on combined scores by Sunday.

S.F Edge Trophy
A mainstay of the Members’ Meeting since its debut at the 74th edition, the S.F Edge Trophy brings pre-1923 “Edwardian giants” back to the historic Goodwood track. Spectators will witness a thrilling five-lap duel featuring pre-war machines that pay homage to the daring spirit of early 20th-century racing.

Gordon Spice Trophy
This year’s edition of the Gordon Spice Trophy introduces a new format, with a focus on Group 1 saloon cars from the 1970s and early 1980s. Cars like the Ford Capri Mk3, Rover SD1, and Chevrolet Camaro Z28 will light up the track as they compete in a twilight 20-minute showdown on Saturday—a spectacle not to be missed.

Arundell Cup featuring the Taylor Trophy
Rear-engined Formula Juniors, including the iconic Lola Mk3 and Lotus 20/22, will race for the prestigious Arundell Cup. The first drum-braked car to cross the finish line will be awarded the Taylor Trophy, guaranteeing plenty of tight turns and nail-biting moments as fans watch these classics duel.

The Thrills Of The 82nd Members Meeting Racing Toward A Sustainable Future

Earl Howe Trophy
Named for the co-founder of the British Racing Drivers Club, this year’s Earl Howe Trophy showcases vintage British-built sports cars like the Bentley 3-litre and Aston Martin LMs. This nostalgic race honors racing heritage, featuring some of the most beautiful British-made machines from the early days of motorsport.

Gurney Cup
Named after racing legend Dan Gurney, this cup brings high-octane sports-racing prototypes from 1963-1966 to the fore. In a 45-minute, two-driver format, the Gurney Cup welcomes Porsche 906s, GT40s, and McLaren M1As, delivering a spectacle of speed and precision in one of the fastest events of the weekend.

Moss Trophy
This celebrated race honors the late Sir Stirling Moss, known for his record-breaking RAC TT wins. Featuring closed-cockpit GT cars from the late 1950s to early 1960s, the Moss Trophy attracts world-class drivers and classic car aficionados to witness Jaguar E-Types, Ferrari 250 GTs, and AC Cobras race in true Goodwood spirit.

Win Percy Trophy (New Addition)
The newly introduced Win Percy Trophy, named for the accomplished touring car driver, offers a dedicated race for Group 1 touring cars under 2.8 litres, dating from 1970 to 1982. Smaller-engine favorites that previously competed in the Gordon Spice Trophy, such as Ford Escorts and BMW 3.0 CSLs, will have their chance to shine in this 45-minute contest.

Whitmore Cup
Returning to Goodwood with a lineup of pre-1966 touring cars under two litres, the Whitmore Cup promises an exciting mix of Lotus Cortinas, Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GTAs, and Mini Coopers. Fans can look forward to a spectacular show as these legendary models battle it out, helmed by drivers from BTCC, Formula 1, and beyond.

Salvadori Cup
Named for the Le Mans icon Roy Salvadori, this race showcases the very essence of sports car racing history with models that shaped the post-war era. Expect a stunning collection, including Lotus 15s and Lister-Jaguar “Knobblys,” as they go head-to-head in a tightly contested 20-minute race.

With a lineup as diverse as it is legendary, the 82nd Members’ Meeting is set to be an unforgettable season opener, celebrating both Goodwood’s heritage and its commitment to sustainability. Tickets are on early bird release exclusively for Goodwood Road Racing Club Members and Fellows until December 31. Fans are encouraged to join the GRRC for priority access, alongside year-round benefits, to experience the cutting edge of historic motorsport at this spectacular event.

Note: While race schedules are confirmed, the final timetable and entry list will be shared closer to the event.
