Audi has unveiled its restructured and reworked four-door electric coupe line-up, now on sale in the UK and priced from £107,730 (OTR). This new model range includes the S e-tron GT, RS e-tron GT, and the RS e-tron GT Performance, all of which feature significant enhancements to styling, equipment, driving range, dynamics, and charging capability. The 2024 Audi e-tron GT series represents a groundbreaking step in electric vehicle performance and luxury, particularly with the introduction of the 925PS RS e-tron GT Performance, the most powerful series production Audi ever.
New Line-up, New Look
Each variant of the new e-tron GT series offers a distinct look that refines Audi’s e-tron design language. The S e-tron GT, available in standard S trim and the more luxurious S Vorsprung form, features a new grille with a three-dimensional appearance and more pronounced airflow-optimizing ‘curtains.’ The rear is adorned with a new aerodynamic diffuser with vertical fins, while a black styling package adds a sportier edge. New 20-inch multi-spoke wheels are standard, with the S e-tron GT Vorsprung boasting 21-inch aero wheels and red brake calipers.
Audi RS: Inspired by Motorsport
The RS e-tron GT models adopt a more aggressive stance, showcasing the high-performance division’s signature 3D honeycomb grille structure. The rear end, inspired by motorsport, features a streamlined diffuser with inset L-shaped aero channels and a centrally mounted vertical red reflector. The RS e-tron GT performance, the first fully electric RS performance model, adds ceramic brakes with anthracite-finished calipers, further distinguishing itself with unique ‘carbon camouflage’ elements.
Interior: Comfort and Sustainability
Inside, the e-tron GT models offer a blend of luxury and sustainability. The S e-tron GT features upgraded sports seats with 14-way electric adjustment and illuminated logos. Upholstery combines the sustainable microfibre material Dinamica, made from recycled polyester, with artificial leather. Depending on the version, Dinamica also appears in the steering wheel trim, virtual cockpit hood, center console, and headlining. Econyl, a material made from recycled nylon fibers, is used for carpeting and floor mats.
Advanced Technology and Equipment
The latest Audi virtual cockpit provides comprehensive battery and charging status information, forming part of a sophisticated suite of digital and connectivity technology, including an array of internet-based Audi Connect services and an app store accessible via the Audi wireless smartphone interface. The S e-tron GT’s equipment list is enhanced with a Bang & Olufsen Premium 3D Sound System, a head-up display, and several new driver assistance features. The innovative panoramic glass roof, available on the S e-tron GT Vorsprung and all RS variants, can be controlled via the Audi MMI system to suit occupants’ needs.

Performance and Efficiency
The new e-tron GT models are powered by two electric motors using 800-volt technology, providing significant increases in power and improved acceleration. The S e-tron GT delivers 680PS and sprints from 0-62mph in 3.4 seconds, while the RS e-tron GT, with 856PS, cuts the acceleration time to 2.8 seconds. The RS e-tron GT performance sets a new benchmark with 925PS and a 0-62mph time of just 2.5 seconds. All models benefit from an upgraded high-voltage battery with a gross storage capacity of 105 kWh, facilitating a maximum driving range of up to 374 miles.
Charging and Suspension
Charging power has increased to 320kW, allowing the e-tron GT to replenish 80% of its reserves in just 18 minutes at a high-power charging station. Adaptive air suspension, now standard across all variants, has been redeveloped using 2-chamber/2-valve technology, enhancing driving dynamics without compromising comfort. The active suspension in S e-tron GT Vorsprung and RS e-tron GT Vorsprung models offers settings that neutralize body vibrations, maximizing comfort and control.
The 2024 Audi e-tron GT series combines captivating design, innovative technology, and engaging dynamics, setting new standards in electric vehicle performance and luxury. With significant enhancements across styling, driving range, performance, and charging capability, Audi continues to push the boundaries of what is possible in the electric vehicle market. The new e-tron GT models are now available for order in the UK, with first customer deliveries scheduled for later this summer.
