With just over a month to go until the Goodwood Revival (Friday 16 – Sunday 18 September), we are delighted to announce that the grid for the Lavant Cup will be entirely made up of MG Bs. The Lavant Cup makes for fantastic viewing and has taken many formats over the years. Previous iterations have seen hotly-contested battles in an all-Ferrari race, as well as a fiesta of Ford GT40s.
This year the Lavant Cup will welcome one of the most popular classic cars of all time: the MG B, as 30 of these timeless classics take to the grid in a state of near-constant drift. The collection of fabulous cars includes those that have raced on the world stage, including at Le Mans, Sebring, Monza, Spa and been driven by the likes of Sir Stirling Moss, John Fitzpatrick and Alec Poole.
