Milton Keynes, United Kingdom – 25 November 2025 – Mercedes-Benz has officially opened orders for the all-new CLA Shooting Brake in the United Kingdom, with customer deliveries set to begin in Q1 2026. Combining the elegance and sporty character of the CLA Saloon with the practicality of an estate, the CLA Shooting Brake marks Mercedes-Benz’s first fully electric estate offering.
Available in two configurations—the CLA 250+ and CLA 350 4MATIC—the CLA Shooting Brake caters to a range of driving preferences and performance needs. Prices start at £47,750 for the CLA 250+ and rise to £60,785 for the fully equipped CLA 350 4MATIC AMG Line Premium Plus. Customers can place orders via the Mercedes-Benz Online Showroom or through their local Mercedes-Benz Agent.
Five Distinct Specifications
The CLA Shooting Brake is offered in five specifications: Sport, Sport Executive, AMG Line Executive, AMG Line Premium, and AMG Line Premium Plus. Each level brings a tailored blend of technology, comfort, and style, from the 14-inch central display with integrated video camera to the MBUX Superscreen—standard from the AMG Line Premium trim upwards—which provides a dual 14-inch display for both driver and front-seat passenger.
Optional extras such as a trailer coupling with ESP trailer stabilisation (£950) and a direct current fast-charging system (£850) add further flexibility for owners.
Spacious and Versatile Interior
The CLA Shooting Brake offers up to 1,290 litres of luggage space, not including the 101-litre front boot (‘frunk’). Its estate-style design combines a sleek silhouette with a highly practical interior, giving passengers and their belongings ample room without compromising on sporty elegance.
Cutting-Edge Electric Performance
Both the CLA 250+ and CLA 350 4MATIC feature an 85 kWh high-voltage lithium-ion battery and a 200 kW (272 hp) electric drive unit (EDU) on the rear axle, engineered entirely in-house by Mercedes-Benz. The EDU’s two-speed transmission optimises both acceleration from a standstill and efficiency on long motorway drives.
The CLA 350 4MATIC adds an 80 kW (109 hp) front-axle EDU, activated only when extra traction or power is required. Its Disconnect Unit decouples the motor under low load, reducing front-axle losses by up to 90 percent and ensuring excellent efficiency.
- CLA 250+: Rear-wheel drive, 272 hp, 335 Nm torque, 0–62 mph in 6.8 seconds, WLTP range up to 469 miles
- CLA 350 4MATIC: All-wheel drive, 354 hp, 515 Nm torque, 0–62 mph in 5.0 seconds, WLTP range up to 451 miles
Intelligent Mercedes-Benz Operating System
At the heart of the CLA Shooting Brake is the Mercedes-Benz Operating System (MB.OS), which integrates infotainment, driving assistance, comfort, and charging. Powered by advanced AI, MB.OS learns driver habits, adapts to conditions, and makes real-time decisions for a safer, more intuitive driving experience.
High-performance chips and Unity Game Engine graphics power the vehicle’s displays, while features such as adaptive distance control, blind-spot assist, MULTIBEAM LED headlamps, and PRE-SAFE® technology ensure safety and comfort at every journey.
Looking Ahead: Hybrid Options
Later in 2026, the CLA Shooting Brake will expand its powertrain options with a hybrid variant featuring a new electrified 1.5-litre inline-four petrol engine and an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission (8F-eDCT), offering drivers further flexibility between electric and hybrid performance.
With its combination of elegance, intelligence, and versatility, the all-new Mercedes-Benz CLA Shooting Brake sets a new benchmark for the electric estate segment. UK customers can now experience this blend of style and performance firsthand, with deliveries starting in early 2026.
