Ingolstadt, June 16, 2025 – The Audi Q3 has long been a cornerstone in the premium compact SUV market. With over two million units sold globally, its status as a best-seller is well earned. Now, Audi introduces the third generation – a model that not only builds on its predecessor’s strengths but boldly elevates every aspect of the driving and ownership experience. From bold design and plug-in hybrid power to cutting-edge digital features and full-size-class driver assistance systems, the new Audi Q3 sets a new benchmark for the segment.
Muscular Elegance with Purpose
Sculpted with confident contours and athletic precision, the new Audi Q3 commands attention. Its bold Singleframe grille and sleekly tapered headlights are seamlessly integrated into the aerodynamic profile, improving airflow while enhancing the SUV’s striking front fascia. From the side, a prominent shoulder line between the front and rear lights carves a strong visual divide, amplifying light and shadow play for a dramatic effect.
Quattro-inspired blistered wheel arches and steeply raked D-pillars enhance the Q3’s dynamic posture, while the clean, structured rear features a full-width LED light strip (S line and above), separated from the digital OLED rear lights for a modern finish. Exterior highlights include nine colour options, ranging from solid Arkona white to the new Sage green and the exclusive Daytona grey for S line variants. Wheel designs span from 18-inch aerodynamic styles to bold 20-inch Audi Sport alloys, including the Edition 1’s signature five-arm tripod design.
A Sophisticated, Spacious Interior
Inside, Audi continues its mission to bring luxury-class digitalisation to the compact segment. A completely reimagined interior blends tactile quality with advanced technology. The newly designed steering wheel control unit introduces intuitive gear selection and lighting/wiper controls, while freeing up additional space in the centre console. Acoustic glazing on the front side windows – a first for any Audi compact SUV – significantly enhances cabin refinement at higher speeds.
Comfort is equally prioritised. A sliding and reclining rear seat bench comes as standard, allowing flexible storage configurations. Boot space begins at a generous 488 litres and expands to an impressive 1,386 litres with the seats folded flat. Towing capacity of up to 2,100kg adds further practicality.
Plug-In Power, Hybrid Efficiency
Audi’s latest Q3 generation introduces more choice and more electrification than ever before. At launch, customers can choose from:
- Audi Q3 TFSI 150PS (Mild-Hybrid) – Entry-level petrol power with electrified efficiency, priced from £38,300 (OTR).
- Audi Q3 TDI 150PS – Diesel variant ideal for long-distance efficiency, priced from £40,000 (OTR).
- Audi Q3 e-hybrid 272PS – The most advanced Q3 to date, priced from £45,800 (OTR), featuring a powerful plug-in hybrid drivetrain with a WLTP electric range of up to 74 miles.
The e-hybrid utilises a high-capacity 25.7kWh battery (net 19.7kWh), capable of DC charging at up to 50kW for swift top-ups. Whether navigating city streets or venturing further afield, this electrified model brings seamless performance and lower emissions without compromising power or range.

Comfort, Dynamics, and Safety
Underpinning every Q3 is Audi’s newly refined suspension architecture. The standard setup delivers excellent ride comfort, while the sport suspension (standard on Edition 1) and optional two-valve damper system (as part of the Sound & Vision Pack Pro) offer enhanced handling characteristics with optimal composure. Aerodynamic improvements have also reduced the drag coefficient to just 0.30, contributing to better efficiency and road quietness.
Driver assistance and safety have been dramatically upgraded. A fatigue monitoring system uses interior cameras to detect drowsiness, while features such as Trained Parking allow the vehicle to remember and repeat specific parking manoeuvres. Lighting also plays a pivotal role: the new digital Matrix LED headlights and OLED rear lights, offered for the first time in the Q3 range, provide adaptive, high-resolution illumination for optimal visibility and presence.
A Digital Companion for the Everyday
With the third-generation Q3, Audi delivers a truly connected compact SUV. The cabin integrates the latest infotainment and control systems from the brand’s larger models, while offering new personalisation and ease-of-use enhancements. With greater comfort, sharper dynamics, and segment-leading digitalisation, the Q3 becomes more than just a vehicle—it becomes a trusted companion for daily life.
