Suzuki Ireland has expanded its retail footprint with the appointment of Cavanaghs of Mallow as a new authorised dealer, reinforcing the brand’s growing presence across the Republic. The addition brings Suzuki’s Irish dealer network to 22 partners, representing a total of 25 retail outlets nationwide.
Cavanaghs of Mallow has very recently opened its doors to Suzuki customers in North Cork, operating under the leadership of James Foley, Managing Director of the wider Cavanagh Group and Dealer Principal of the Mallow operation. With more than six decades of experience in the motor industry, the Cavanagh name is well established in the region, earning a strong reputation for customer service and long-term relationships.
The dealership now offers the full Suzuki experience, including the complete new and used vehicle range alongside comprehensive aftersales support. Customers are welcomed at a modern one-acre facility in Town View, Mallow, featuring a six-vehicle showroom, dedicated sales offices, service reception and a comfortable customer waiting area. The aftersales operation is equally well equipped, with a four-bay workshop, a dedicated diagnostic ramp and extensive parts storage to support efficient servicing and repairs.
Commenting on the new partnership, James Foley said Suzuki was a natural fit for the business. He highlighted the shared values between the two companies, particularly their commitment to delivering outstanding service and a positive customer experience. Foley added that the team is looking forward to working closely with Suzuki Ireland and introducing the brand’s full model line-up to customers in Mallow and the surrounding areas.
Suzuki GB and Suzuki Ireland Director Automobile David Kateley also welcomed the appointment, describing Cavanaghs of Mallow as a valuable addition to an already successful dealer network. He pointed to record sales performance in the Republic, driven by Suzuki’s popular hybrid range, strong levels of standard technology and a reputation for reliability underpinned by a warranty of up to 10 years or 160,000 kilometres.
Looking ahead, Suzuki Ireland will continue to build momentum with the launch of the e VITARA, the brand’s first fully electric vehicle in Ireland, due later this spring. Alongside established models such as Swift, Vitara and S-Cross, the new electric offering marks another important step in Suzuki’s local product strategy. With Cavanaghs of Mallow now on board, Suzuki is confident the partnership will further enhance customer satisfaction, strengthen aftersales retention and support the brand’s continued growth in Ireland.
