6,257 vehicles sold in July as brand holds firm at #2 in national rankings
Suzuki Auto South Africa has added yet another milestone to its record books, celebrating its best-ever dealer sales month and securing the second-highest overall monthly sales performance in its history.
According to the latest figures released by the National Association of Automobile Manufacturers of South Africa (naamsa), 6,257 new Suzuki vehicles were sold across the country in July 2025 — just 142 units shy of the all-time record of 6,399 set in January this year.
Of these, a staggering 5,069 units were sold through the brand’s nationwide dealer network, breaking April’s previous record by 54 units. The remaining 1,188 units were delivered to fleet, rental, and government clients.
This performance has once again solidified Suzuki’s #2 position in the national vehicle sales rankings by manufacturer — a feat the brand has maintained with consistency and resilience since the beginning of the year.

Swift Momentum Driven by Customer Favourites
Leading the sales surge was the popular fourth-generation Swift, which continues to capture the hearts of South African drivers with its blend of style, performance, and affordability. A total of 1,872 Swift units found new homes in July, reaffirming its status as Suzuki’s most in-demand model.
The Suzuki Fronx, a recent addition to the brand’s lineup, followed with an impressive 1,220 units, while the versatile Ertiga secured 980 sales. The S-Presso and Baleno rounded out the top five with 445 and 401 units sold, respectively.
Dealer Network at the Heart of Success
Suzuki’s sustained success is underpinned by its ever-growing and committed dealer network, which continues to deliver standout customer service and support across South Africa.
“We are incredibly proud of this result, especially as it reflects the continued dedication and hard work of our dealer network across the country,” said Cristine Knight, Auto Dealer Sales Manager at Suzuki Auto South Africa.
“Their commitment to delivering exceptional service and customer care is the driving force behind our success. We remain focused on supporting them and our customers as we head into the final stretch of what has already been a remarkable year.”
Eyes on a Record-Breaking 2025
With five months still to go in 2025, Suzuki Auto South Africa is poised to challenge its own benchmarks and possibly set a new all-time sales record. The brand’s diverse and accessible model range, paired with its strong dealership presence and growing fleet partnerships, continues to drive customer trust and market momentum.
In a highly competitive market, Suzuki’s performance is more than just impressive — it’s a testament to a brand that understands its audience, supports its network, and consistently delivers value where it matters most.
