7 August 2025 – Subaru UK & Ireland has announced a heartfelt new partnership with BBC Countryfile Magazine in support of the much-loved Dog of the Year competition — a nationwide celebration of the powerful bond between humans and their canine companions.
A brand synonymous with adventure, the great outdoors and dog-friendly design, Subaru is the ideal collaborator for a campaign that highlights everything we love about our four-legged friends. From loyal working dogs and heroic hounds to affectionate couch cuddlers, the awards shine a spotlight on the most remarkable pups from all corners of the UK.
“We’re delighted to be working in association with BBC Countryfile Magazine Dog of the Year,” said Lorraine Bishton, Managing Director of Subaru UK. “At Subaru, we understand that dogs are more than just pets — they’re family. Our vehicles are designed with that in mind, offering safety, comfort, and versatility for drivers, passengers and their four-legged friends alike.”
Whether you’re heading for a windswept beach walk, tackling muddy trails, or simply popping to the park, Subaru’s rugged, dependable vehicles offer a sanctuary on wheels — built to handle dog-filled days with ease.
