Retailer Community Award Presented to Tweedmouth Service Station
15th May 2024 – Subaru (UK) Ltd and its dealer partners from across the UK gathered in Harrogate for the brand’s annual Dealer Conference & Awards, held in late April and hosted by multi-award-winning comedian, presenter, and actor Russell Kane.
At the event, S & S Services took home the coveted Retailer of the Year Award in recognition of their outstanding achievements in 2023. The dealership, based in Ayr, provided the highest levels of performance in all areas of the Subaru business, including vehicle sales, finance, aftersales, and customer service.
The 2023 Special Appreciation Award was presented to David Tuach from Aird Motors Subaru. Having been part of the Subaru family almost from the beginning, David has consistently delivered the highest level of support and passion for the brand over the years. He has played a vital role in Aird Motors Subaru being a top 10 performing dealer in sales, aftersales, and customer service.
Jonny Aston was named the Subaru Rising Star of 2023. Representing Unity Tredington, Jonny has helped guide and drive the dealership to operate at the highest level, supporting the wider dealership team in all business areas.
Subaru (UK) Ltd has built a reputation for its exceptional customer service and retention. Dales Subaru in Lancashire was awarded for its outstanding Excellence in Customer Service throughout last year.
Tweedmouth Service Station was honoured with the inaugural Retailer Community Award. Firmly embedded in their local community through various initiatives, such as local sports sponsorship, Tweedmouth Service Station supported a local cancer charity by providing vehicles free of charge to transport patients to vital hospital appointments and conducting various fundraising activities.
Lorraine Bishton, Managing Director at Subaru (UK) Ltd, who was on hand to present many of the awards, said, “It was a pleasure to host this annual event alongside my UK and European colleagues to recognize our retail partners for their achievements and commitment to excellence. We saw some particularly deserving awardees this year, especially those making a real difference in their local communities and our individual Rising Star winner.”
