A new automotive destination has arrived in Vanderbijlpark, as Stellantis South Africa expands its retail presence through a multi-brand partnership with Star Motor Group. The new dealership brings five globally recognised automotive brands together under one roof, offering customers a unified and streamlined experience that blends vehicle sales, servicing, and after-sales support into a single, cohesive journey.

The Vanderbijlpark facility features Citroën, FIAT, Jeep®, Opel, and PEUGEOT, each represented with its own distinct identity while still benefiting from the operational efficiency of a shared environment. The concept reflects a growing shift in automotive retail, where convenience and customer experience are becoming just as important as the vehicles themselves.

At the core of the initiative is Stellantis South Africa’s broader strategy to strengthen its national footprint while improving accessibility to its diverse brand portfolio. By consolidating multiple marques into one location, the group aims to simplify the customer journey, making it easier for buyers to compare models, access finance solutions, and maintain their vehicles without navigating separate dealership networks.

Mike Whitfield, Managing Director of Stellantis South Africa, describes the expansion as a natural evolution of the company’s partnership with Star Motor Group. The collaboration reinforces Stellantis’ commitment to expanding its presence in Gauteng while ensuring that innovative and high-quality mobility solutions are available to a wider customer base. It is a move that underscores both confidence in the local market and a long-term focus on customer-centric retail development.

From the dealership perspective, Star Motor Group CEO Edwin Strauss highlights the significance of welcoming five Stellantis brands simultaneously. The partnership reflects a shared vision centred on innovation, quality, and a premium customer experience. It also signals a commitment to building long-term value in the region through consistent service and strong brand representation.

Beyond the showroom floor, the new Vanderbijlpark dealership places a strong emphasis on comfort and accessibility. Customers are welcomed into a modern environment designed to make the purchasing and servicing experience as smooth as possible, with amenities such as comfortable waiting areas, complimentary Wi-Fi, and refreshments. Every touchpoint has been designed to feel intuitive, reducing friction and enhancing overall satisfaction.

Strategically located at Building 2B, Rabie Street, Vanderbijlpark C.E.6, the dealership serves as an important access point for customers in southern Gauteng. It not only expands Stellantis’ physical footprint but also reinforces its commitment to delivering consistent service standards across South Africa.

With Citroën, FIAT, Jeep®, Opel, and PEUGEOT now operating side by side in Vanderbijlpark, the new dealership represents more than just an expansion of retail space. It signals a shift toward integrated mobility hubs, where variety, convenience, and customer experience converge to redefine how South Africans engage with automotive brands.
