Cape Town, 30 July 2025 – In a powerful display of unity, purpose, and possibility, GAC Motor—together with sports nutrition leader NutriTech—co-sponsored a heartwarming charity touch rugby event in Cape Town, raising vital funds for a remarkable cause: supporting the promising future of 8-year-old Atarah Goodheart.
Hosted at Generation Schools Imhoff and supported by Kensio House Therapeutic Academy, the event combined the energy of sport with the heart of community upliftment. The spotlight was firmly placed on Atarah, an aspiring footballer from Ocean View whose undeniable talent and determination have opened a pathway into the prestigious Real Madrid Foundation Educational Football Programme, alongside full boarding at Generation Schools Imhoff.
Sporting Legends Rally for a Purpose
The pitch came alive as a star-studded lineup of South African sporting icons took part in a celebrity touch rugby match that entertained and inspired. Legends like Paul Delport, Rudy Paige, Morgan Newman, Siv Ngesi, Juan Leon de Jongh, Ricardo Duarttee, Jevron Epstein, and Carlos Spencer joined hands—and boots—to raise both awareness and funds, reminding all in attendance of sport’s unique ability to bring about real, tangible change.
While the day was rich in fun and fanfare, its underlying mission was crystal clear: to empower a gifted young girl whose journey is only just beginning. Atarah is the only girl in her club’s U8 A-team and already shines both on the field and in the classroom. The funds raised at this event ensure that she can now access world-class training and education—an extraordinary opportunity for a young talent whose dreams know no bounds.

A Shared Vision for Empowerment
“Sport has the unique power to change lives, and this event was proof of that,” said Bianca Naude of GAC Motor. “Being able to support Atarah’s journey through such a memorable and meaningful event is something we are extremely proud of.”
That sentiment was echoed by Jevron Epstein, President of the Real Madrid Foundation Educational Football Programme in South Africa:
“This initiative shows what’s possible when brands, communities, and sports icons unite for a greater good. Atarah’s story is just the beginning.”
As the official importer and distributor of GAC Motor in South Africa, Salvador Caetano South Africa continues to champion initiatives that are rooted in purpose, equity, and community empowerment. This event is the latest example of the company’s commitment to being more than a mobility brand—it’s about being a force for good.
Lasting Impact Through Collaboration
Beyond the field, the partnership between GAC Motor, NutriTech, Kensio House, and Generation Schools signals a growing movement: one that places youth development, gender equity, and access to education at the centre of progress. With Kensio House contributing generously, the full sponsorship of Atarah’s tuition and boarding is now a reality.
This event was more than a game. It was a statement—of belief, of unity, and of the extraordinary things that happen when people rally around a shared vision. Atarah’s journey is just beginning, but the foundation laid here will carry her far.
