Nürburg – MINI enthusiasts and motorsport fans are on the edge of their seats as the highly anticipated New MINI John Cooper Works prepares for its debut at the renowned 24 Hours of Nürburgring. This grueling endurance race, one of the most challenging in the world, pushes drivers and teams to their limits as they tackle the legendary Nürburgring-Nordschleife in a relentless 24-hour showdown of speed, skill, and reliability.
The new petrol-powered MINI John Cooper Works, cloaked in bespoke camouflage created by the MINI Design Team, pays tribute to the iconic red and white color schemes that adorned classic Minis in 1960s motorsport.

Set to celebrate its world premiere in the fall of 2024, the New MINI John Cooper Works marks a significant milestone in MINI’s ongoing dedication to innovation and heritage. In a bold move, the new lineup will be available in both petrol and all-electric versions, pushing the boundaries of speed and agility.
Honoring the historic victory of the Mini Cooper S at the 1964 Rallye Monte Carlo, the racecar features a distinctive “37” logo, commemorating this milestone achievement and celebrating MINI’s rich motorsport legacy.
Competing in the SP 3T category, the New MINI John Cooper Works #317 will be entered by the Nürburg-based private racing team, Bulldog Racing. Dubbed the “MINI John Cooper Works PRO,” this MINI Twin-Power Turbo racecar represents the perfect blend of MINI’s iconic design and reliability with Bulldog Racing’s proven track expertise.
The second entry, the beloved black MINI John Cooper Works #474 with manual transmission, will also return to the track. Known for its podium finish in last year’s 24 Hours of Nürburgring, this car has already proven its mettle in the fiercely competitive VT-2 category, solidifying its reputation as a formidable contender in endurance racing.
