Skywell has given its all-electric BE11 a decisive upgrade for 2026, delivering a model that is not only more comfortable and technologically advanced, but also significantly better value. Priced from £31,990 and available to order now, the revised BE11 is set to reach UK customers from January 2026.
Just a year after its UK debut, the BE11 has undergone a comprehensive update shaped directly by journalist and customer feedback. The result is a more polished C-segment electric SUV that strengthens Skywell’s proposition of space, range and comfort, while introducing a host of new features developed specifically for British roads.
UK-Developed Safety Takes Centre Stage
The headline upgrade for the BE11 26MY is the introduction of a comprehensive, UK-developed advanced driver assistance system. Replacing the previous cruise control is Adaptive Cruise Control, joined by a long list of newly standard safety technologies including Automatic Emergency Braking, Blind Spot Detection, Lane Keep Assist, Traffic Sign Recognition and Rear Cross Traffic Alert.
Crucially, key systems such as lane assistance and blind spot monitoring have been engineered and calibrated in the UK. Skywell’s local engineering team has completed thousands of miles of testing across urban streets, rural roads and varying weather conditions, ensuring the technology is optimised for real-world British driving.
With these additions, the BE11 now offers more than 25 standard safety features, complementing existing equipment such as a 360-degree camera system, multiple airbags, hill descent control and driver fatigue alerts.
A More Luxurious Cabin Experience
Inside, the BE11 takes a noticeable step up in comfort and perceived quality. Both front seats now feature heating and ventilation, finished in perforated black leather-style upholstery with Alcantara accents. The driver benefits further from electronic lumbar adjustment, memory settings and a comfort entry and exit function that automatically moves the seat to a pre-set position when getting in or out.
Skywell has also enhanced the cabin ambience and practicality. New additions include 128-colour ambient lighting across the dashboard, cabin air particulate monitoring and a revised 220v vehicle-to-load socket with a UK-compatible three-pin plug. Charging convenience is improved too, with additional USB ports front and rear, while buyers can opt for a larger 15.6-inch infotainment screen in place of the standard 12.8-inch display.
Familiar Styling, Strong Electric Credentials
Externally, the BE11’s clean and modern design remains unchanged, save for new ‘BE11’ tailgate badging. Buyers can choose from Aurora White or three metallic finishes at no extra cost.
Under the skin, the BE11 26MY continues with two battery options. The Standard Range model uses a 72kWh battery offering up to 248 miles of WLTP range, while the Long Range version’s 86kWh battery delivers up to 303 miles, rising to 401 miles in urban driving. Both variants are powered by a 150kW front-mounted electric motor.
Big Price Cut, Bigger Value
Perhaps the most striking update is the pricing. The Standard Range BE11 now starts at £31,990, while the Long Range model is priced from £34,990, representing reductions of £5,000 across the range. This positions the BE11 comfortably below many similarly sized electric SUVs, and even undercuts several smaller electric and hybrid alternatives.
Skywell’s value proposition is further strengthened by a seven-year or 100,000-mile manufacturer warranty, an eight-year battery warranty and up to 10 years of roadside assistance when serviced through the dealer network.
As David Clark, Skywell UK General Manager, explains, the updated BE11 is the result of close collaboration between UK and Chinese teams. By swiftly addressing feedback and adding more than 20 new features alongside a highly competitive price point, Skywell has sharpened the BE11’s appeal as a spacious, well-equipped and accessible electric SUV.
With UK-tuned safety technology, enhanced comfort and a significantly lower entry price, the 2026 Skywell BE11 arrives as a more compelling proposition than ever.
