Milton Keynes, April 8, 2024 – Škoda has officially announced the UK pricing and detailed specifications for the eagerly awaited second-generation Kodiaq SUV, with the order books set to open on April 10, 2024.
This latest iteration of the Kodiaq enhances the model’s already impressive attributes by incorporating an array of new features. Notably, it boasts a larger 910-litre boot space, introduces Škoda’s innovative Smart Dials within a boldly redesigned interior, and includes advancements such as LED Matrix headlights and new parking assist technologies.
Since its debut in 2016, the Kodiaq has set the standard in the large family SUV category, offering a blend of seven-seater capacity, Škoda’s hallmark practicality, and exceptional value. The first-generation Kodiaq saw over 850,000 units delivered globally, with the UK market alone taking in over 55,000 units, making it Škoda’s second-largest market for this model.
The new Kodiaq broadens its appeal with five drivetrain options, including a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) version for the first time, promising an all-electric range of over 62 miles and supporting rapid DC charging up to 50kW. Initially available in five-seater configurations across two trim levels, SE and SE L, a SportLine variant will also be introduced later in the year.
The starting price for the Kodiaq SE is set at £36,645 OTR, offering a wealth of standard features such as 18-inch Mazeno alloy wheels, LED lighting, heated front seats, and a comprehensive suite of safety systems. The SE L models, starting from £40,205, further enhance the offering with 19-inch alloy wheels, advanced LED Matrix headlights, luxury seating materials, and additional convenience features.

A major exterior redesign introduces elements of Škoda’s new Modern Solid design language, a revised logo, and improved aerodynamics for better efficiency. The interior adopts Škoda’s design selections concept seen in the Enyaq, offering harmonious design themes and a suite of high-tech features for comfort and connectivity.
Significant improvements have been made to the space and practicality of the vehicle, especially in the boot capacity and passenger space. The Kodiaq iV models feature a slightly reduced boot space to accommodate the PHEV drivetrain, still offering ample storage volume.
Under the hood, the Kodiaq comes with a choice of petrol and diesel engines, with a new PHEV option arriving later. The petrol engines include a 1.5 TSI e-TEC with mild hybrid technology and a 2.0 TSI with all-wheel drive. Diesel options feature a 2.0 TDI engine in two power outputs, both offering the option of all-wheel drive.
With these updates, Škoda reaffirms the Kodiaq’s position as a leading family SUV, balancing innovation, space, and performance with environmental considerations through the introduction of a plug-in hybrid option.
