Škoda’s most powerful electric model to date delivers electrifying acceleration, dynamic vRS styling, and everyday practicality – all wrapped in a compact SUV body ready to redefine the EV experience.
Mladá Boleslav, 16 June 2025 – Škoda Auto has unveiled the all-electric Elroq vRS, a performance-focused range-topper that blends athleticism, innovation, and versatility into one commanding package. With a dual-motor setup producing 340 PS (250 kW), a rapid 0–62 mph sprint in just 5.4 seconds, and a WLTP-certified range of 339 miles, the Elroq vRS sets a new benchmark for Škoda’s electrified ambitions.
Launched just six months after the world premiere of the all-new Elroq, this vRS iteration cements Škoda’s intent to compete assertively in the high-demand compact electric SUV space. Building on the strong foundation of the Elroq—already Europe’s best-selling BEV in April—the vRS edition adds sharper performance, bespoke styling and exclusive equipment that elevate it to flagship status within the Škoda electric range.
Electrifying Performance with Everyday Practicality
Powering the Elroq vRS is a finely calibrated twin-motor all-wheel-drive system that delivers a total of 340 PS. Mirroring the performance of its larger sibling, the Enyaq vRS, the Elroq vRS accelerates from standstill to 62 mph in just 5.4 seconds, making it the fastest-accelerating production Škoda model to date. A top speed of 111 mph complements its dynamic capabilities.
An 84 kWh battery (79 kWh net) ensures a competitive range of 339 miles (WLTP), while DC fast-charging at up to 185 kW allows a 10–80% charge in just 26 minutes. For home charging, the onboard 11 kW AC charger replenishes the battery fully in approximately 8.5 hours. Škoda has also refined the Elroq vRS’s aerodynamics, achieving a drag coefficient of just 0.267 – remarkable for an SUV.

Dynamic vRS Styling and Sports Chassis
Staying true to Škoda’s vRS DNA, the Elroq vRS combines performance with striking visual identity. Gloss black detailing, vRS-specific bumpers, and trim-exclusive badging give the model an assertive road presence. Alloy wheels up to 21 inches, including 20-inch Draconis wheels with matte black inserts as standard, underline its athletic stance. An exclusive matte grey paint option will soon be available, paired with gloss black contrast elements for an even bolder aesthetic.
Beneath its sculpted exterior lies a sports chassis equipped with Dynamic Chassis Control (DCC) as standard, tuned specifically for the Elroq’s compact dimensions. The adaptive suspension offers up to 15 adjustable parameters, allowing drivers to fine-tune their ride from plush comfort to taut responsiveness. Progressive steering and stiffer anti-roll bars further enhance handling, ensuring precision in both urban and dynamic driving scenarios.
A New Era of vRS Interior Luxury
Inside, the Elroq vRS introduces the vRS Lounge Design Selection – a performance-inspired space finished in black microsuede, carbon-look accents and lime green contrast stitching. Heated front sport seats with integrated head restraints come as standard, with the driver enjoying massage, lumbar support and memory functions. The Maxx Package extends this luxury to the front passenger.
A heated, three-spoke sports steering wheel wrapped in perforated leather and stainless-steel pedals affirm the car’s dynamic character. Customisable ambient lighting, a 3-zone Climatronic air conditioning system, and acoustic privacy glass ensure both style and substance.
Seamless Technology Integration
Tech lovers will find much to admire in the Elroq vRS’s suite of digital enhancements. A 13-inch infotainment screen is joined by a 5-inch Digital Cockpit and Augmented Reality head-up display – all featuring vRS-specific graphics. The infotainment system includes a one-touch heater button, four fast-charging USB-C ports, and 15W wireless charging with phone cooling.
Standard features such as the 12-speaker CANTON sound system (675 W), electrically operated tailgate with Virtual Pedal, and panoramic Area View camera round out a package that seamlessly blends technology with convenience. One of Škoda’s cleverest touches is the QR code in the boot, which links to tutorials for various features via smartphone.
Smart Connectivity, Safety and Charging
Škoda’s latest generation of Travel Assist comes as standard, integrating Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Assist, Emergency Assist, Blind Spot Detection and more. Keyless entry with Open-On-Approach and Walk-Away Locking simplifies access, while Remote Park Assist and Remote Trained Parking—operated via the MyŠkoda app—showcase next-generation user-centric innovation.
With Powerpass, owners can charge at nearly 900,000 public charging points across Europe. A revised tariff structure offers flexibility and value, particularly for IONITY network users, with Plug & Charge compatibility ensuring hassle-free high-speed charging.
Conclusion: A New Chapter in Škoda Performance
The Škoda Elroq vRS is more than just the most powerful Elroq yet—it’s a vision of what modern electric performance can be: fast, intelligent, emotionally engaging and perfectly practical.
