The honours keep coming for ŠKODA, with a category win and three ‘Highly Commended’ recommendations in the annual Car of the Year awards from Diesel Car magazine.
The ŠKODA Octavia Estate is Diesel Car magazine’s ‘Best Estate Car’ for 2014, making it the fifth category win ŠKODA has collected since 2009. The magazine’s Editor and Publisher, Ian Robertson, commented: “Clever thinking and roominess are two of ŠKODA’s watchwords and medium cars don’t get more spacious than the Octavia Estate. With an enormous 1,740 litres of space on offer with the seats folded down, you have room for everything family life can throw at it.”
The 2014 awards also saw a trio of ‘Highly Commended’ honours for the brand, including the ŠKODA Superb Estate in the ‘Best Estate Car’ category won by the Octavia Estate.
The ŠKODA Superb was picked out in the ‘Best Large Car’, while the ŠKODA Octavia vRS earned the same tribute in the ‘Best Hot-Hatch Sports Car’ section.
