Milton Keynes, 29 May 2025 – Škoda is broadening the appeal of its award-winning Enyaq range with the launch of the new SportLine 85, a sleek, single-motor, rear-wheel drive model that blends sharp design with enhanced efficiency and a generous equipment list. Available in both SUV and Coupé body styles, the new variant is set to offer drivers even greater choice in the premium electric vehicle segment.

Slated for order from 12 June 2025, with prices starting from £47,260 OTR (Coupé from £49,160), the SportLine 85 joins the recently introduced 85x all-wheel drive model, offering a compelling alternative that prioritises range and refined rear-driven dynamics.

Refined Power, Uncompromising Performance

At the heart of the SportLine 85 lies an 82 kWh battery (77 kWh usable), paired with a rear-mounted motor delivering an impressive 286 PS and 545 Nm of torque. This setup allows the SUV and Coupé to sprint from 0–62 mph in just 6.7 seconds, with a top speed of 111 mph—proving that electric efficiency doesn’t come at the cost of driving excitement.

But the real headline lies in the range: the SportLine 85 SUV boasts up to 354 miles on the WLTP combined cycle, while the Coupé ekes out an additional two miles, offering up to 356 miles. These figures not only surpass those of the dual-motor 85x but position the SportLine 85 among the best in class for real-world electric range.

Fast Charging, Flexible Living

Charging flexibility is another strong suit. The SportLine 85 supports DC rapid charging at speeds of up to 135 kW, enabling a 10–80% top-up in just 28 minutes when using a suitable rapid charger. AC charging at up to 11 kW ensures easy compatibility with home wallboxes and public chargers alike.

Skoda Expands Enyaq Line Up With New Sportline 85 A Stylish Efficient Drive With Class Leading Range

Style Meets Substance

True to its SportLine badge, the new model makes a striking visual statement. Standard equipment includes 20-inch Vega black alloy wheels, sport-styled bumpers, and gloss black exterior detailing. Inside, the cabin continues the theme with front sports seats, a sports steering wheel, and a CANTON premium sound system, delivering a dynamic and immersive driving experience.

Adding to the high specification is a head-up display (HUD), a variable boot floor, and Škoda’s Area View camera system—offering a 360-degree bird’s eye view for effortless manoeuvring.

Engineered to Engage

Driving dynamics are sharpened with progressive dynamic steering and sports suspension, lowering the ride height by 15mm at the front and 10mm at the rear. The result is a more planted stance, improved handling, and a drive that feels as agile as it looks.

A Confident Step Forward

By adding the SportLine 85 to the Enyaq family, Škoda continues to demonstrate its commitment to offering high-quality, electrified mobility without compromise. The combination of range, performance, and a high level of standard equipment makes the SportLine 85 a standout choice for drivers seeking a bold, efficient EV that’s ready for the real world.

Key Highlights:

  • 286 PS rear-mounted motor, 0–62 mph in 6.7s
  • Up to 356 miles WLTP range (Coupé)
  • Rapid DC charging: 10–80% in ~28 minutes
  • SportLine styling with sports suspension and progressive steering
  • Order books open 12 June 2025; prices from £47,260 OTR

The new Enyaq SportLine 85 represents another confident stride in Škoda’s electric evolution—where dynamic design, real-world usability, and engaging performance meet.
