Škoda Auto has officially unveiled the most dynamic and technologically advanced versions of its all-electric SUV family—the new Enyaq vRS and Enyaq Coupé vRS. These top-tier models, alongside the new Elroq vRS, proudly claim the title of the fastest-accelerating production Škodas to date, delivering exhilarating all-wheel-drive performance without compromising on everyday practicality.
With a blistering 0 to 62 mph time of just 5.4 seconds, courtesy of a dual-motor system producing 340 PS, the vRS variants are engineered to thrill. But speed is only part of the equation. The Enyaq vRS lineup exemplifies Škoda’s latest design philosophy, enriched with premium materials, sophisticated onboard tech, and clever comfort-enhancing innovations.
Peak Electric Performance
The new Enyaq vRS and Coupé vRS are powered by a pair of electric motors that drive all four wheels, delivering instant torque and a smooth yet commanding driving experience. With a top speed of 111 mph, these models don’t just accelerate fast—they sustain it with confidence. Charging is equally swift, with DC fast charging up to 185 kW allowing a 10–80% charge in just 26 minutes. Meanwhile, a range of over 340 miles (WLTP) makes them ideal for long-distance travel.
For home or workplace charging, AC charging at 11 kW can fully replenish the 84 kWh (79 kWh net) battery in around 8.5 hours—perfect for overnight top-ups.
Dynamic by Design
As expected from Škoda’s vRS sub-brand, the styling is bold and purposeful. The new Enyaq vRS and Coupé vRS introduce elements of the Modern Solid design language, most notably the Tech-Deck Face in high-gloss black with illuminated vertical slats and integrated sensors. The LED Matrix beam headlights, standard across the range, offer superb visibility and a distinctive light signature.
Glossy black exterior accents, exclusive 20- or 21-inch alloy wheels, and a sharp aerodynamic silhouette distinguish these models visually, with Hyper Green paintwork reserved exclusively for vRS variants. The Coupé, in particular, benefits from a drag coefficient as low as 0.239, optimising efficiency without sacrificing sportiness.
Sports Chassis with Adaptive Versatility
Beneath the striking exterior lies a specially tuned sport chassis, with the front axle lowered by 15 mm and the rear by 10 mm for a more planted stance. Progressive steering ensures sharp handling, while larger two-piston brakes on the front axle enhance stopping power.
Škoda’s optional Dynamic Chassis Control (DCC) introduces 15 settings to fine-tune damping, from ultra-comfortable to dynamically taut, depending on your driving style or road conditions. The bespoke Driving Mode Select includes a traction mode tailored for AWD performance.
Inside the Lounge of Tomorrow
Inside, the Enyaq vRS range blends athleticism with luxury. Two Design Selections are available—vRS Suite and vRS Lounge—each offering its own aesthetic identity. The vRS Suite uses leather and artificial leather with grey stitching and carbon-look trim, while the Lounge option introduces black microsuede and artificial leather, enhanced by lime-green stitching.
The cabin includes heated sports seats with integrated headrests, massage and memory functions, and electric adjustment. Stainless steel pedal covers, a tri-zone Climatronic air conditioning system, and acoustic glass all contribute to a serene and indulgent environment.
Tech-Packed and Driver-Focused
The cockpit is designed for connected driving, featuring a 13-inch infotainment display, 5-inch Digital Cockpit, and a head-up display with Augmented Reality as standard. Drivers benefit from the CANTON 12-speaker sound system with a 635 W output, as well as area view cameras for enhanced situational awareness.
vRS-specific graphics, an infotainment Heaters button for quick climate control, and up to four 45 W USB-C ports offer a seamless digital experience.
Simply Clever, Seriously Convenient
As with all Škodas, everyday usability is top of mind. Highlights include a wireless phone charger with cooling, Virtual Pedal access to the powered boot, and even a QR code in the luggage compartment linking to instructional videos. The new Open-On-Approach keyless entry system welcomes the driver by unlocking the vehicle as they near.
World Debut on Ice
Fittingly, the global premiere of the Enyaq vRS models is set on one of Europe’s most exciting sporting stages—the 2025 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship, held in Sweden and Denmark. Škoda, a proud partner of the event since 1993, will showcase the vehicles at the tournament’s opening matches in Stockholm and Herning, reinforcing its heritage and passion for performance.
