Škoda has recently unveiled substantial updates for its 2024 Fabia and Karoq models, emphasizing enhanced standard features and the introduction of more efficient engines, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to offering superior value to its customers.
Karoq Upgrades:
The 2024 Karoq lineup features three trim levels: SE Drive, SE L, and SportLine, all of which now include advanced standard features such as Lane Assist, Care Connect, and a 3-year Infotainment Online subscription. Additional enhancements include a driver attention monitor, power-operated child locks, Traffic Sign Recognition, and preparations for a tow bar. The SE Drive trim now boasts a 10.25-inch Virtual Cockpit and wireless smartphone charging, whereas the SE L trim offers 18-inch Procyon silver alloy wheels with anthracite inserts. The premium SportLine trim adds tablet holders and ISOFIX on the front passenger seat, along with new rear badging reflecting Škoda’s latest corporate identity.
Despite retaining the previous range of drivetrains, the Karoq introduces a new, more efficient engine from the EVO2 generation, replacing the 1.0 TSI with a unit that increases output to 116PS, an improvement of 6PS. Both manual and automatic transmissions are available across the engine options, with the 2.0 TDI and 2.0 TSI engines featuring a seven-speed DSG and standard 4×4. The starting price for the 2024 Karoq is £28,380 OTR.

Fabia Enhancements:
All Fabia trims—SE Comfort, Colour Edition, SE L, and Monte Carlo—now include Traffic Sign Recognition, Wireless Smartlink, and a 3-year subscription to Care Connect as standard. The SE Comfort trim upgrades to an 8-inch digital display and a larger 8.25-inch infotainment screen. Additional enhancements across the trims include cruise control, rear electric windows, LED rear lights, and various interior decor options. The Monte Carlo trim, designed for sportiness, includes front seat lumbar support among its new features.
A significant update for the Fabia is the introduction of a new 1.0 TSI engine, also from the EVO2 generation, which offers a 6PS increase in power, now outputting 116PS. This engine comes with a six-speed manual as standard, with an optional seven-speed DSG available. Pricing for the 2024 Fabia starts at £19,730 OTR.
Interior Options:
Both the Karoq and Fabia feature new interior design selections. The Karoq’s options include the Loft, Lounge, and Suite interiors, with a unique sporty interior available for SportLine models. The Fabia offers interiors such as the Studio, Lodge, and Loft, with the Monte Carlo trim featuring a distinctive black and red design.
The 2024 model year for both the Fabia and Karoq can now be ordered, promising a blend of tradition and innovation that continues to define the Škoda brand.
