The Škoda Elroq represents a bold step forward in sustainable interior design with its introduction of advanced materials like Recytitan and Technofil. Recytitan, a cornerstone of the Elroq’s interior, consists of 78% recycled PET, primarily sourced from plastic bottles. For the first time, Škoda is also incorporating recycled clothing into its vehicles, further enhancing the material’s sustainability. This innovative fabric finds its place on the Elroq’s seats, upholstery, door panels, and armrests, combining practicality with a minimal ecological impact. In addition to Recytitan, the Elroq features Technofil—a fabric composed of 75% ECONYL® yarns and 25% polyester. ECONYL® is a pioneering material made from regenerated nylon, including waste such as fishing nets and fabric scraps. This material not only offers superior abrasion resistance but is also fully recyclable, allowing it to be continually regenerated without compromising on quality.
