Škoda Auto Celebrates 21 Years as the Official Partner of Tour de France 2024
Mladá Boleslav, June 27, 2024 – As the cycling world gears up for the 111th edition of the Tour de France, Škoda Auto proudly embarks on its 21st consecutive year as the event’s main partner. Commencing with the Grand Départ in Florence, Italy, on June 29, this year’s Tour promises excitement and innovation, reflecting Škoda’s enduring commitment to cycling excellence.
A fleet of 205 vehicles, predominantly electric and plug-in hybrids, including the iconic Škoda Enyaq and flagship Škoda Superb, will spearhead the race. Notably, the all-electric Enyaq will serve as the ‘Red Car’ for Tour director Christian Prudhomme, leading the peloton through 21 stages spanning nearly 3,500 kilometers across Italy, San Marino, Monaco, and France, culminating in Nice on July 21.
