JOHANNESBURG, 09 April 2026 – Stellantis Middle East and Africa has announced the appointment of Sizwekazi Jekwa Mdingi as Head of Communication and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) for Stellantis in South Africa. Bringing a wealth of experience across journalism, strategic communication, stakeholder engagement, and CSR, Sizwekazi is set to make a transformative impact on the company’s local operations.
Throughout her career, Sizwekazi has successfully led internal and corporate communications initiatives in diverse environments. Her expertise in brand positioning and stakeholder relations has consistently strengthened organisational culture, enhanced reputations, and fostered meaningful connections with both internal teams and external audiences. Her dedication to impactful CSR initiatives further underscores her commitment to creating sustainable value for the communities she serves.
Sizwekazi holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Economics and Journalism from Rhodes University and notably became the first black woman to win the Citi Financial Journalism Award in South Africa, reflecting her pioneering spirit and excellence in communication.
In her role at Stellantis, Sizwekazi will shape and lead the company’s communication strategy, manage media relations with the local press, ensure alignment with broader organisational goals, and advance CSR initiatives across South Africa.
