26 June 2025, Gaydon, Warwickshire — Aston Martin, the world-renowned British marque synonymous with elegance, performance and refined design, has taken another bold step in its journey beyond the automobile. The company today unveils N°001 Minami Aoyama, a visionary new townhouse in Tokyo — and the first single-home, ultra-luxury residence by Aston Martin in Asia.
Situated in Tokyo’s iconic Omotesandō neighbourhood — a locale revered for its blend of high fashion, design culture and architectural prestige — the four-storey residence stands as a tangible expression of Aston Martin’s design philosophy, seamlessly translated into a private home of unprecedented calibre.
A Masterpiece of Automotive-Inspired Living
More than a luxury dwelling, N°001 Minami Aoyama is a sculptural composition of light, form and space. Arranged across three levels above a substantial basement, the 724 m² residence was conceived through an intimate design collaboration between Aston Martin’s creative team, led by EVP and Chief Creative Officer Marek Reichman, and Japan’s leading luxury real estate developer, VIBROA Inc.
The result is a harmonious balance of British craftsmanship and Japanese urban elegance. From the facade’s dynamic metal louvers that catch the shifting light to the wave-textured ceilings and glass feature walls, every detail has been curated to evoke a sensory journey through proportion, materiality and calm.
A Residence Rooted in Sanctuary and Spectacle
At the heart of the home is perhaps its most symbolic feature: the automotive gallery, a space in which two Aston Martin vehicles are displayed as if they were artworks in a private museum. The gallery is designed with adaptive lighting and bespoke finishes that elevate the vehicles into living sculptures — visible from within the ground floor lounge via a precision-engineered glass vision panel.
This reverence for design continues throughout the residence. From the folded steel staircase inspired by Japanese origami, to the rooftop terrace offering sunset views over Tokyo Tower, N°001 Minami Aoyama has been imagined as a haven — a place where architecture, craftsmanship and performance meet in perfect synchrony.

Where Craft Meets Culture
Aston Martin’s unique brand of ultra-luxury has long extended beyond the road — as seen in previous residential projects such as the sail-inspired Aston Martin Residences in Miami and the tranquil interiors of The Astera on Al Marjan Island. But with N°001 Minami Aoyama, the marque’s design team has reached a new level of immersive detail, drawing from Japan’s culture, history and minimalist elegance.
“Tokyo has always held a creative significance for us,” notes Marek Reichman. “This residence is not just a home; it’s an artistic expression of our values — where architecture and automotive design meet to create something truly extraordinary. It’s a place that reflects how people aspire to live when surrounded by beauty, craft and innovation.”
VIBROA CEO Toshiyuki Yoshida echoed this sentiment: “Collaborating with a brand as iconic as Aston Martin has set a new benchmark in Japan’s luxury real estate. This project represents more than just a beautiful home — it’s a statement of design leadership and lifestyle excellence.”
Holistic Luxury for the Modern Elite
Inside, every aspect of the home has been shaped to elevate the lifestyle of its owner. A comprehensive suite of features includes a gym, golf simulator, spa, wine cellar and a landscaped terrace with a natural Onsen pool. Materials are of the highest specification: Hinoki timber, black lava stone, and Molteni&C furnishings set the tone for serenity and sophistication.
Technology is discreetly integrated, with a Bowers & Wilkins audio system bringing immersive sound throughout the residence. From the hand-crafted kitchen cabinetry to the spa’s bespoke soundscape, each element of the home has been refined under Aston Martin’s uncompromising supervision.
A Symbol of Expansion in Asia
N°001 Minami Aoyama stands not only as a pinnacle of design-led living but also as a milestone in Aston Martin’s strategic expansion across Asia. Following the opening of the Aston Martin Ginza showroom at The Peninsula Tokyo in 2024, the brand’s physical and cultural presence in Japan has taken on new momentum.
This home, singular in its conception and execution, is a statement of intent — a promise that Aston Martin’s pursuit of beauty, performance and innovation now extends to the most intimate spaces of everyday life.
As cities evolve and definitions of luxury living expand, Aston Martin continues to lead from the front — reimagining not just how we drive, but how we live. With N°001 Minami Aoyama, that future is already here.
