Royal Enfield is set to make an electrifying return to the 14th edition of Wheels & Waves in Biarritz, France, taking place from 11th to 15th June 2025. As Europe’s foremost celebration of custom and classic motorcycling culture, the iconic festival blends surf, skate, and motorcycle subcultures in a way that’s as unique as it is unforgettable. Royal Enfield, a long-term partner of the event, will once again take centre stage — bringing new machines, thrilling races, immersive activities, and an extraordinary competition offering the chance to win a dream motorcycling journey in India.
A Custom World Like No Other
This year, visitors to the Royal Enfield stand in the Wheels & Waves Village will be among the first in the world to witness the latest chapter in the brand’s renowned Custom World programme. Celebrated for its originality and boundary-pushing builds, the 2025 collection is more diverse than ever, showcasing one-of-a-kind creations crafted in-house and through global collaborations. Highlights include innovative new bikes from Japan’s Sureshot, Kingston Custom, Sideburn Magazine, and AMS Garage from Bali — each a bold expression of craftsmanship and creativity on two wheels.
Racing to the Peak: Meet the SAMURAI
A highlight of the week kicks off on Wednesday 11th June with the return of the iconic Punks Peak Sprint Race at Mont Jaizkibel. Royal Enfield will enter the newly released SAMURAI, a compact performance chopper built by Sureshot’s Takuya Aikawa. Based on the 648cc Royal Enfield parallel twin engine and transformed with an S&S 865cc Big Bore kit and bespoke performance mods, the SAMURAI is an uncompromising, race-bred machine ready to dominate the hill.
Following its competitive debut, SAMURAI will become the headline attraction at the ArtRide Exhibition at Skatepark Biarritz on Thursday evening. There, it will be celebrated through an immersive installation created by renowned artist duo, Pistache. To commemorate the experience, Pistache will also release a series of limited-edition t-shirts available exclusively to visitors of Wheels & Waves.
Ride Outs, Rock & Royal Enfield Culture
Royal Enfield will host a packed programme of events throughout the festival. On Friday, members of the Royal Enfield Riders Club of Europe (RCE) and existing owners are invited to join a scenic Ride Out through the beautiful Basque countryside, organised in partnership with Vintage Rides. Later, the Custom World Booth transforms into a social hub, with live music from Titanic Bombe Gas, refreshments, and a chance to connect with fellow motorcycling enthusiasts.
Further adding to the festival’s skate scene, Royal Enfield will sponsor the high-energy ‘Tricks for Cash’ freestyle skateboarding competition on the Wheels & Waves half-pipe — showcasing fearless talent and the brand’s passion for grassroots culture.
Into the Motoverse: Win the Ultimate Motorcycling Experience
Perhaps the most exciting announcement of all: every visitor to Royal Enfield’s stand this year will have the chance to WIN 2 x Tickets to join Royal Enfield and Vintage Rides in Goa for Motoverse 2025 — a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience India’s most thrilling celebration of motorcycling culture and then ride across the country’s breathtaking landscapes.
The grand prize includes VIP access to the Motoverse Festival on Goa’s famed Vagator Hilltop, taking place 20–22 November 2025, followed by the INTO THE MOTOVERSE tour: an 11-day, 680-mile two-wheeled expedition through the lush jungles, ancient cave temples, and dramatic rockscapes of Karnataka. Entries will also be accepted at other European Royal Enfield events, including the ABR Festival in the UK, with the winner to be announced on 2nd July 2025.
