Fresh funding empowers UK-based brand to launch its most powerful creation yet and enter the US market

(Hampshire, UK – 7 May 2025) — Rocketeer Cars, the British automotive brand renowned for its exhilarating hand-built MXV6 RestoBuilds, has confirmed the successful conclusion of its latest funding round. The infusion of capital brings with it not only new investors but seasoned advisors, marking a pivotal moment in the company’s mission to redefine the analogue sports car experience for a new generation of driving purists.

The funding will accelerate the development of two world-class RestoBuild models, expand Rocketeer’s international presence — including a long-anticipated move into the US market — and enhance the company’s capacity to offer an increasingly diverse range of bespoke, turnkey, and self-build vehicles powered by its celebrated 3.0-litre V6 engine.

A Resounding Vote of Confidence

The new investment represents a strong endorsement of Rocketeer’s unique vision: blending the raw, analogue thrill of classic sports cars with cutting-edge engineering and materials. With more than 30 completed RestoBuild and Turnkey vehicles and over 150 self-build kits already delivered, Rocketeer has proven there is a growing appetite among enthusiasts for a purist alternative to today’s over-digitised, over-powered supercars.

Rocketeer’s new investors are more than financiers — they’re supercar owners and collectors who share the brand’s belief that true driving enjoyment lies not in lap times or top speeds, but in engagement, feedback, and character. Their backing validates Rocketeer’s ethos and bolsters its trajectory at a key moment in the company’s evolution.

Introducing the Rocketeer Keiryō: A New Benchmark in Lightweight Performance

At the heart of Rocketeer’s next chapter is the upcoming launch of the Rocketeer Keiryō — Japanese for “Lightweight”. Commissioned by a discerning client and developed by Rocketeer’s in-house R&D team, Keiryō aims to be the lightest and most extreme Rocketeer model to date.

Targeting just 850kg and a staggering 375hp, the Keiryō will boast a power-to-weight ratio of 441hp per tonne — rivalling icons like the Ferrari F40 and modern supercars such as the Lamborghini Huracan and McLaren 620R. It’s a bold statement of intent designed to attract an entirely new segment of enthusiast drivers seeking visceral thrills without sacrificing finesse or usability.

With the first build already underway, Rocketeer has confirmed that additional Keiryō orders are being accepted, with full specifications to be revealed closer to launch.

Mk3 (NC) Development Nears Completion

Alongside the Keiryō, Rocketeer is preparing to roll out its eagerly awaited Mk3 (NC) variant. Currently in late-stage development, the NC has already achieved over 300hp on the dynamometer in standard trim. This model represents a critical expansion of the Rocketeer lineup, tapping into a large and active global base of NC-generation MX-5/Miata owners. Deliveries of the NC model are slated to begin mid-2025.

Rocketeer Goes Stateside

In a significant leap for the brand, this funding round also enables Rocketeer to officially enter the US market. With growing demand from American enthusiasts, the company is now poised to deliver both Turnkey and RestoBuild vehicles stateside, fulfilling a long-held goal and opening new growth opportunities. This builds on the brand’s existing partnerships in Germany, the Netherlands, and Australia.

Three Pathways to Rocketeer Ownership

Rocketeer’s proposition centres around three distinct ownership experiences:

  • Bespoke RestoBuilds: Hand-curated in collaboration with clients, these one-off creations feature custom colour palettes, unique trim options, and a deeply personal design process. Each car is a rolling expression of the owner’s individuality.
  • Turnkey Builds: Rocketeer’s expert technicians handle the full installation of its signature 3.0-litre V6, delivering a refined yet ferocious drive that stays true to the brand’s analogue ideals.
  • Self-Build Kits: For the capable enthusiast, Rocketeer offers a comprehensive kit — a rewarding project that results in a certified Rocketeer vehicle, complete with the company’s badging and inclusion in its official register.

Driving Forward

With the wind at its back, Rocketeer Cars is now entering a new era of innovation, reach, and influence. The combination of new models, international expansion, and strategic investment sets the stage for a banner year ahead. As the brand continues to challenge conventions and celebrate the joy of driving, 2025 promises to be Rocketeer’s most exciting chapter yet.
