Revive! and Assurant Seal Exclusive Five-Year Deal for Cosmetic Car Insurance
Revive! Auto Innovations has entered into an exclusive five-year agreement with Assurant to offer comprehensive cosmetic car insurance to over 3,000 UK dealers who retail Assurant’s motor warranty products. This new deal addresses the increasing demand from both dealers and motorists for car cosmetic products, including coverage for bodywork scratches, dents, and alloy wheel damage.
This strategic partnership will utilize Assurant’s extensive partner channels, including motor manufacturers, franchised dealers, and independent retailers. It will also be available alongside RAC-branded warranty and aftersales products, ensuring widespread availability and convenience for customers.
Revive!, based in Rugby, operates a national network of 50 franchisees and has ambitious plans to expand further by recruiting 180 new technicians and achieving annual sales of £40 million by 2028. The company has experienced substantial growth over the past year, with retail sales up by 32%, dealership sales by 27%, and national accounts by 21%.
Sean Kent, Director of Automotive Europe at Assurant, highlighted the rising consumer interest in cosmetic car products. “Our dealers have reported increased demand for such products, largely driven by the trend of motorists driving older cars post-pandemic and investing in their upkeep.
