Renault is set to redefine the light commercial vehicle (LCV) segment with the announcement of three all-new electric vans, each designed to meet a diverse range of business needs. The new lineup—Estafette, Goelette, and Trafic—represents a bold step forward in commercial mobility, built on the cutting-edge Software Defined Vehicle (SDV) architecture developed by Ampere. These highly flexible, scalable, and intelligent vehicles are set to arrive on the market from 2026 and will be manufactured in France at the renowned Sandouville plant.

A New Era of LCV Innovation

The new Renault LCV range is the result of an ambitious collaboration with Flexis, an independent entity founded by Renault Group, Volvo Group, and CMA CGM Group. Designed to support businesses through the ongoing energy and technology transition, these 100% electric E-Tech vans leverage a next-generation “skateboard” platform, ensuring modularity, efficiency, and seamless adaptability.

With a strong focus on customization, connectivity, and operational cost savings, these new vehicles promise to set new industry standards. Whether for urban logistics, commercial fleets, or specialized utility functions, Renault’s upcoming range offers unparalleled versatility without compromising on safety, performance, or sustainability.

Trafic E-Tech Electric: Modern and Functional

Since its inception in 1980, the Renault Trafic has been a staple of the LCV segment, with over 2.5 million units produced. Now in its fourth generation, the Trafic E-Tech electric builds upon this legacy, combining contemporary design with cutting-edge electric technology.

  • Sleek and Practical Design: A one-box silhouette with a short front overhang and extended wheelbase ensures maximized interior space while maintaining exceptional maneuverability, akin to a Renault Clio.
  • Urban-Friendly Dimensions: Standing at under 1.90m in height, it easily fits into underground parking spaces.
  • Innovative Styling: A backlit front strip and Renault logo enhance the vehicle’s high-tech identity, while a structured beltline conveys a sense of movement and energy.
  • Aerodynamic Efficiency: A high body line, asymmetrical rear doors, and a sophisticated 3D rear light design blend form and function seamlessly.

With its robust black lower-body protection, Trafic E-Tech electric is built for intensive, everyday commercial use, ensuring reliability and resilience.

Goelette E-Tech Electric: Versatility Redefined

Reviving the name of Renault’s celebrated workhorse from the 1950s, the new Goelette E-Tech electric is engineered for adaptability. Designed to cater to a variety of professional needs, it is available in three configurations: chassis cab, box, and tipper, enabling an extensive range of conversions.

  • Optimized Architecture: The vehicle’s front end mirrors the proportions of the Trafic E-Tech electric, while the rear remains open to infinite customization options.
  • Tailored Utility: Whether configured for heavy-duty transport or specialized fleet applications, Goelette E-Tech electric offers seamless adaptability.
  • Elegant and Functional: Its rear lighting design enhances its professional aesthetic while offering enhanced visibility and safety.

By combining robustness with modern design, Goelette E-Tech electric ensures that businesses have the flexibility they need to succeed in an evolving commercial landscape.

Renault Unveils A Revolutionary Lcv Range Estafette Goelette And Trafic E Tech Electric

Estafette E-Tech Electric: The Ultimate Urban Van

Inspired by Renault’s iconic 1960s Estafette, this new iteration is purpose-built for modern urban logistics. Compact yet spacious, it offers exceptional handling and maneuverability in city environments.

  • Perfect for Urban Deliveries: Measuring just 5.27m in length and 1.92m in width, the Estafette E-Tech electric is designed to navigate dense city streets with ease.
  • Smart and Ergonomic: Standing at 2.60m in height, the van allows operators up to 1.90m tall to move freely within the cargo area.
  • Panoramic Visibility: A large three-piece windshield improves sightlines, enhancing safety and driving comfort.
  • Seamless Accessibility: A sliding side door with an integrated invisible track and a rear roller shutter optimize cargo handling efficiency.
  • Robust Protection: Grained black body cladding reinforces durability, while stainless steel running boards add a refined touch.

With its sleek, high-tech design and superior urban usability, the Estafette E-Tech electric is set to become a staple for businesses operating in fast-paced city environments.

A Future-Built Platform for Commercial Success

Renault’s next-generation LCV range represents a paradigm shift in commercial mobility, delivering unmatched customization, connectivity, and cost-efficiency. By leveraging Ampere’s SDV architecture and the advanced “skateboard” platform, these vehicles ensure:

  • Scalability for multiple business applications
  • Enhanced safety and ergonomics
  • Lower operational costs and energy efficiency
  • Advanced connectivity and telematics integration

Manufactured in France at the Sandouville plant, Renault’s Estafette, Goelette, and Trafic E-Tech electric vans are set to revolutionize the LCV market from 2026. As further details emerge in the coming months, one thing is clear—Renault is redefining commercial mobility for a new era of business and sustainability.
