Renault has solidified its position as an industry leader by sweeping four top honours at the 2025 Company Car & Van Awards. Highlighting its exceptional achievements, the French automaker claimed the highly sought-after “Manufacturer of the Year” award.

This impressive victory was complemented by the New Renault Master earning dual recognition as both “Van of the Year” and “Large Van of the Year”, while the cutting-edge Renault Megane E-Tech electric was crowned “Small Car of the Year”.

A Stellar Year of Innovation and Excellence

Commenting on Renault’s sweeping success, Andrew Walker, Editor of Company Car & Van, said:
“No other manufacturer launched as many new models in 2024… and what a line-up it was, from the class-leading Master van to the Scenic E-Tech, Symbioz and Rafale cars, with the all-new electric 4 and 5 models landing in 2025.”

The awards underscore Renault’s ability to innovate and lead across diverse segments, from commercial vehicles to passenger cars.

New Renault Master: The Benchmark for Large Vans

The New Renault Master has set a new standard in the large van category, praised for its versatility and forward-thinking design. Judges highlighted the vehicle’s range of configurations, practical enhancements, and advanced features, including:

  • Expanded cargo access: A 40mm wider sliding door opening and a 200mm longer load length.
  • Premium interior materials: Combining comfort and durability.
  • Sustainability focus: Lower CO2 emissions across the lineup.
  • Driver assistance: 20 advanced programmes to enhance safety and ease of use.

Available with both diesel and electric powertrains, the Master E-Tech stood out for its remarkable specifications, including a class-leading 285-mile electric range, a payload capacity of up to 1,625kg, and pricing comparable to diesel variants.

Walker remarked: “The most impressive version is the full electric Master E-Tech, priced like a diesel van, offering an excellent range, and coming with a payload that makes it a runaway winner.”

Starting from £33,500 plus VAT for diesel models and £37,500 plus VAT for E-Tech electric variants (after PiVG), the New Master delivers a class-leading package with load spaces spanning 11 to 14.8 cubic metres.

Renault Megane E-Tech Electric: Redefining the Small EV Segment

The Renault Megane E-Tech electric, described as the model that sparked Renault’s renaissance, continues to shine as a leader in the small electric vehicle market. With its sleek design, luxurious interior, and outstanding driving dynamics, the Megane E-Tech remains a standout even amid fierce competition.

“Despite a raft of small electric contenders launching during 2024, it’s still one of the best small electric cars to drive, and the interior oozes class,” noted Walker.

Key highlights of the Megane E-Tech electric include:

  • A driving range of up to 285 miles (WLTP).
  • Fast 130kW charging, delivering 186 miles of range in just 30 minutes.
  • A powerful 220hp motor capable of accelerating from 0 to 62mph in just 7.5 seconds.

With pricing starting at £33,995 OTR, the Megane E-Tech electric offers exceptional value in the EV segment.

A Triumph of Vision and Investment

Justin Costello, Head of Fleet at Renault UK, reflected on the brand’s continued success:
“Renault Group’s investment in the fleet sector over the past 18 months has really started to reap dividends. This recognition of our market-leading cars and vans, underlined with the Manufacturer of the Year award, highlights our approach in the fleet market and the compelling offering we now deliver.”
