This category honors fleet managers who are dedicated to implementing and enforcing their organization’s safety procedures and policies. These managers go above and beyond to cultivate a team of drivers committed to road safety, providing them with the tools and support needed to achieve this.
Fleet managers overseeing light, medium, or heavy commercial vehicles are all eligible to enter. Showcase your efforts in fostering a road safety-centric ethos among your drivers, highlighting the support they receive from you as their fleet manager.
Best Organisation
Enter this category if your organization embodies road safety through various procedures, policies, and initiatives. The winner of this category will receive the prestigious Phillip Hull Floating Trophy, named after a notable leader in South African road safety.
Road Warrior
The Road Warrior category celebrates exceptional commitment to road safety. Traditionally, a road warrior is someone who frequently travels for business, conducting much of their work on the move. Entrants must demonstrate their dedication to safe driving and their role in creating safer roads.
Similar to the Best Fleet Manager category, this award is open to drivers of light, medium, or heavy commercial vehicles. The Road Warrior Award aims to motivate drivers to promote road safety actively.
Best Employer
This award is for organizations that prioritize equipping their employees with the necessary tools, skills, and support to become the safest drivers on the road. Employees can nominate their employers who prioritize their safety and well-being.
Best Truck Stop
This category recognizes truck stops that provide safe, well-equipped places for drivers to rest and recharge. It includes a subcategory for the most improved truck stop, highlighting those that have made significant enhancements to better serve drivers.
