Available exclusively to owners of the performance SUV fitted with the optional Bowers & Wilkins audio system, the new mode arrives via the latest over-the-air (OTA) software update, unlocking a deeply immersive, studio-inspired soundscape on the move.
This groundbreaking addition takes its cues from the iconic sonic signature of London’s Abbey Road Studios—the birthplace of countless era-defining recordings. Developed in close collaboration with Abbey Road engineers and Bowers & Wilkins’ audio specialists, the Abbey Road Studios Mode comprises four expert-crafted presets—Intimate, Open, Energised, and Expansive—as well as a customisable Producer mode for those seeking complete creative control over their in-car sound environment.

To accompany each setting, Polestar 3’s 14.5-inch central screen displays a high-resolution image of iconic studio instruments and equipment, adding a visual layer to the sonic journey.
Producer Mode: Tailored to You
For discerning listeners who want to dial in their own audio preferences, Producer mode provides simple yet powerful tools to adjust the system’s tonality and ambience in real time. Inspired by the adjustable acoustics and mixing ethos of Abbey Road, this mode invites every driver to become their own in-car sound engineer.
