GOTHENBURG, SWEDEN – 29 August 2025. Polestar, the Swedish electric performance brand, has unveiled a special edition of the global gaming sensation GeoGuessr.
GeoGuessr, the geolocation challenge that captivates millions of players worldwide, tasks users with identifying real-world locations using only visual hints. The new GeoGuessr Polestar Edition takes players on a journey along Europe’s most iconic driving roads – with a distinctive twist: Polestar 4’s digital rear-view mirror is built into the game, showing the world in reverse at the top of the screen.
“GeoGuessr and Polestar both celebrate exploration,” said Michael Lohscheller, CEO of Polestar. “By integrating Polestar 4’s rear-view mirror into the game, we’ve created a fun connection between our technology and one of the world’s most popular digital adventures. It’s also the perfect entertainment when charging your Polestar.”

GeoGuessr Co-founder and CEO Daniel Antell added: “Every driver uses maps, but GeoGuessr turns navigation into an exciting way to explore the world. Partnering with Polestar was a natural fit, and we’re proud to collaborate with another Swedish brand that shares a global outlook.”
To celebrate the launch, Polestar and GeoGuessr are hosting a Europe-wide competition alongside the 2025 GeoGuessr World Championship Finals in Copenhagen. The ultimate winner will earn an exclusive trip to Polestar’s headquarters in Gothenburg, including a full test track experience with a professional racing driver.
The GeoGuessr Polestar Edition is now live on mobile, desktop, and within all Polestar vehicles via the in-car browser, expanding the brand’s growing portfolio of digital experiences.
