GOTHENBURG, SWEDEN – 14 January 2026 – Polestar has solidified its reputation as a leader in automotive safety, with the Polestar 3 flagship SUV receiving Euro NCAP’s Best in Class award for safest Executive Car of 2025. This recognition highlights the brand’s unwavering commitment to protecting occupants and road users alike, combining innovative engineering with advanced safety technologies.
The accolade follows Polestar 3’s five-star Euro NCAP rating in April 2025, when the SUV achieved an impressive 87% overall score. The model excelled across key safety categories, earning 90% for adult occupant protection, 93% for child occupant protection—the highest score of any passenger car tested in the past nine years—79% for vulnerable road users, and 83% for safety assist systems. Euro NCAP noted that Polestar 3 “set a new standard for child safety,” with performance described as “tantalisingly close to a perfect score.”
