Point S, one of the world’s largest independent tyre and automotive service networks, has taken a decisive step in expanding its influence across the commercial vehicle sector with the launch of its first own-branded truck tyre range. Revealed at the Solutrans trade show in Lyon, the new Point S Tyres Truck line marks a major milestone in the company’s strategic ambition to offer a complete tyre portfolio to its global network.

A Strategic Expansion for a Market Leader

Already a dominant player in the European and North American truck tyre market, Point S offers truck tyre services in more than half of its European points of sale. The introduction of its dedicated truck tyre range builds on decades of technical expertise and strengthens its position as a preferred partner for independent tyre retailers and fleets.

Developed in partnership with a premium tyre manufacturer and produced in Europe, the range reinforces Point S’s reputation for quality, reliability, and independence. This is a significant evolution of its private-label strategy, which until now has centred on passenger car and premium tyres.

A Complete Lineup to Meet Professional Demands

The new Point S Tyres Truck range introduces robust steer, drive, and trailer tyres designed for mixed service and regional haul applications. All products are regroovable, retreadable, and engineered to deliver long-lasting value—an essential factor for transport operators seeking predictable operating costs and dependable performance.

Eight key references are available at launch, including widely used fitments such as 385/65R22.5, 315/70R22.5, and 315/80R22.5. Every tyre in the lineup carries the 3PMSF (Three-Peak Mountain Snowflake) certification, ensuring strong winter performance and consistent year-round capability across diverse European climates.

Production will take place in Poland and Turkey, leveraging the premium manufacturer’s unique consolidated logistics system. This allows Point S members to combine deliveries from both sites into a single truckload order—an operational advantage that boosts flexibility and optimises efficiency for retailers managing mixed inventory.

Engineered for Real-World Challenges

Two key product families anchor the range:

Point S Mixed Service
Developed for the most demanding environments, this tyre features enhanced durability and resistance to stone penetration. Its construction and tread design target the challenges of mixed on/off-road conditions, offering transporters a reliable and hard-wearing solution for heavy-duty operations.

Point S Regional Haul
A versatile tyre built for regional transport, it delivers a broad application range, improved robustness, and full 3PMSF certification across all sizes. This makes it a dependable, modern choice for operators seeking both performance and value.

A Milestone in Point S’s Long-Term Strategy

Fabien Bouquet, CEO of Point S International, emphasised the significance of the launch for the company’s future direction.
“This launch represents a key step in our journey to support our members and their customers with complete mobility solutions. Transport professionals need tyres that deliver performance, durability, and value, which is exactly what this range delivers. It also marks an important milestone in our long-term strategy to strengthen our position in the commercial vehicle sector and to bring more innovation, choice, and independence to the truck tyre market.”

Emilie Faure, International Private Labels Product Manager, highlighted the collaborative development process behind the new offering.
“From the outset, our goal has always been to replicate the strategy and success of our Point S Tyres passenger car range by extending it to the commercial vehicle market with the launch of Point S Tyres Truck. To support this development, we involved selected Point S members and some of our small and medium-sized fleet clients from various countries to test the product. Initial feedback has been extremely positive, with testers particularly impressed with the range’s performance, as well as its quality and competitiveness in real-world operations.”

Driving Forward with Confidence

With its first own-branded truck tyre range now available, Point S is reinforcing its leadership across two major continents while delivering greater independence, stronger value propositions, and premium performance to its members and fleet customers. The launch represents not only a new chapter in the company’s commercial vehicle ambitions, but also a meaningful step toward a more innovative, efficient, and competitive truck tyre market.
