Peugeot UK has announced changes to its Electric Vehicle (EV) Sales programme, with an on-the-road price reduction to £21,216 (after the Government’s £5,000 Plug-in Car Grant), a monthly rental from £249 per month over a 3-year term and comprehensive coverage across the country through 23 dedicated EV Specialist Peugeot dealerships.
Peugeot’s EV range will grow at the beginning of 2013 with the introduction of a new electric Partner van, which will qualify for the recently announced extension to the Government’s EV grant, with a maximum of £8,000 support towards the purchase price of electric commercial vehicles.
The EV range, along with the recently introduced world’s first diesel-electric HYbrid4, displays Peugeot’s commitment to addressing the environmental challenges facing carmakers, communities, businesses and private car owners.
Peugeot has introduced a number of technological solutions and services, adapted to an array of customer needs and designed to drive powerful breakthroughs in fuel efficiency and CO2 emissions. These include the introduction of Stop & Start Systems, diesel-electric hybrids and zero-emission vehicles, enabling Peugeot to increase its leadership in the European low-carbon vehicle segment and extend its expertise to other markets. The Peugeot iOn has also been included in the development of existing mobility solutions like ‘Mu by Peugeot’, a personalised mobility service, based on a new vision of mobility.
