London – July 2025 – PEUGEOT, in its role as Principal Patron of Saatchi Gallery for 2025, has announced an exciting new initiative: the Artist of the Future Prize, a forward-thinking competition that champions emerging digital artists and celebrates creative innovation. This prestigious prize—worth £10,000—is the result of a landmark collaboration between PEUGEOT and Saatchi Gallery, designed to empower new voices in digital art and engage wider audiences with the art of tomorrow.
Launched under the banner “Artist of the Future, Powered by PEUGEOT”, the prize is open to artists from all backgrounds and invites submissions that push the boundaries of digital art. With innovation as its central theme, the prize reflects PEUGEOT’s passion for bold design and future-focused technology, while reinforcing Saatchi Gallery’s long-standing mission to spotlight fresh, untapped creative talent.
“We‘re excited to announce the Artist of the Future prize, Powered by PEUGEOT, as part of our role as Principal Patron of Saatchi Gallery,” said Nicola Dobson, Managing Director, PEUGEOT UK. “As a brand with a reputation for bold design and a commitment to future technology, the theme of innovation perfectly complements PEUGEOT’s values, along with Saatchi Gallery’s unwavering commitment to innovation and experimentation.”
A Platform for Innovation and Inclusion
Since 1985, Saatchi Gallery has been a vital launchpad for contemporary artists, known for its fearless approach to curating thought-provoking and often avant-garde exhibitions. As a registered charity, it remains dedicated to presenting work that reflects the diversity, depth and dynamism of today’s global art scene.
The Artist of the Future prize continues this legacy by offering a stage to digital artists working across a broad spectrum of formats—from digital painting and 3D modelling to animation, generative art, motion graphics, and interactive media.

Prize Structure and Entry Criteria
The total prize is valued at £10,000, comprising a £5,000 cash award and a £5,000 media package designed to amplify the winner’s exposure within the art and design community.
Artists may submit up to two original pieces of digital artwork, alongside an autobiographical statement detailing their creative background and influences. Each entry must also include a 300-word written statement explaining why their work deserves to be considered and how it speaks to the theme of innovation.
The competition is free to enter, with the submission deadline set for 31 August 2025. An esteemed panel of judges drawn from the worlds of art, technology and culture will review the entries. A shortlist of 10 finalists will be chosen, whose works will go on display at Saatchi Gallery in the final quarter of 2025.
Driving Creativity Through Collaboration
PEUGEOT’s support for the arts extends well beyond its products. The brand’s bold design ethos and vision for a more pleasurable and progressive future dovetail naturally with the objectives of the Artist of the Future initiative.
“At PEUGEOT, we’re serious about pleasure,” added Dobson. “We believe in creating a better world; a world where progress is driven by pleasure. Pleasure is how we stand out from the anonymous, banish the banal, and champion excellence. I’m excited to see all the submissions for the prize and look forward to announcing the winner.”
Through its patronage of Saatchi Gallery, PEUGEOT is not only affirming its commitment to creative innovation but also placing itself at the heart of the cultural conversation—across both physical and digital platforms. The partnership ensures prominent PEUGEOT branding across gallery spaces and materials, underscoring its role as a catalyst for artistic expression and cultural exchange.
A Vision for the Future
The Artist of the Future prize represents a shared vision: a space where bold ideas, new technologies and creative courage converge. By recognising the next generation of talent and giving them a platform to shine, PEUGEOT and Saatchi Gallery are setting the stage for a more vibrant and inclusive digital art future.
